“The cottage had been beautifully renovated and was located centrally in the old district of town. A couple of small things would have improved the stay-the stairs to the second storey were steep and a bannister rail would have been appreciated, several basic supply items were lacking- no tea bags or fire lighters to light the kindling and wood supplied, and the heating automatically turned off after short periods and not all heaters appeared to be working. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.”

“Clean and comfortable. Good location. Property heating kept the cottage warm. Note that parking is down a small steep slope, but level with the property.”

“Absolutely brilliant cottage. All new fixtures and fittings with everything you could need for your stay. The drains smell came and went- not sure where it came from and it didn’t really bother us. Location fantastic for walks along the coast and short drive to other coastal towns. Would recommend”

“Our stay at this property was so bad that we actually left after the first night there. We were not provided with any check in information and had to ring the property owner to find out how to get into the property just before we arrived. We arrived with our dog and 3 month old daughter and were shocked to find food (melted cheese) dropped onto trays in the oven and sauce splattered in the microwave. I had to clean the kitchen and all items on arrival and all surfaces felt grubby and unclean.……

“Our weekend in this cottage was comfortable and cosy. There was plenty of space for the two of us and it would be excellent for families as there are two lounge areas, one very spacious on the top floor. We appreciated the efficient log burner and were provided with all the equipment we needed. The views were lovely with one side looking over a field with horses, alpacas and pheasants. Contact with the owner was excellent. A lovely place to stay.”
