"Very clean property in the heart of the neighborhood. The bedrooms are large and wonderfully sized; we were very comfortable. Due to space limitations, the restroom is on the first floor, with bedrooms on the second floor, and being on the older side of adulthood, that was a bit of a challenge. "We were two large families that stayed here, and it was a great traditional Japanese home located close to many amenities (i.e. convenience stores, markets, and restarants, etc.), including the train station. The only thing I wish it had was an extra shower. Trying to get 10 people showered each day was a bit of a chore. Other than that, it had everything we needed for everyone to have a place to sleep and relax after a busy day of touring the city."

"Host and location were wonderful I just have to be transparent and mention one small thing about the home, the washer smelled very mildewy and the tatami room upstairs smelled very strongly as well. It’s possible the house has issues with moisture in the summer but otherwise everything else was great other amenities worked perfectly. I would just be aware of the smells and possibly consider the laundromat a couple blocks away instead for clothes washing."

"The accommodation was very cozy and well kept. It is located in a very nice area with coffee shops and vintage clothing stores. We had a lovely stay here. The host was very easy to get a hold of and communicative of check-in and check-out procedures. The host also went above and beyond helping us. Overall great stay!"
