This place is amazing. Super clean, spacious rooms, very comfortable bed. They have a snack bar with complimentary snacks and drinks along with a coffee machine. Everything you could want! We felt so spoiled. The historic home has been kept up so well and is so beautiful to see the original woodwork. They even have an antique rotary dial wall phone! Kevin was so gracious and is a wonderful host. His breakfast was superb! It was easy to get in, had free parking and we felt very safe! We will definitely be back.

Our experience at the Historic District B&B was incredible! The B&B has been beautifully restored and has a rich history. Our room and the common areas were wonderful, and the fully stocked coffee/snack bar got a lot of visits... But what makes the B&B extra-special is the host (and breakfast chef) Kevin! At the end of our expected stay, we found ourselves unable to fly home due to an ice storm at home. Kevin was so kind, so accommodating, and so patient as our plans changed by the hour. He assured us we had a place to stay no matter what, even if we found out last minute our flight was again cancelled and we needed to stay another night in St. Paul--which happened twice! Kevin went from being a host to being a friend! And the daily breakfasts? Amazing! Kevin offered several ambitious and delicious entrees each morning, along with fresh fruit and his home-made muffins! We will ablosutely be returning to the B&B next time we are in St. Paul!

Best Place to Stay in St. Paul

The historic home is wonderful and walkable to many restaurants and attractions. Owner Kevin is most friendly and hospitable, and an excellent Chef to boot. We could not have enjoyed our stay more.

Top Notch

We had a wonderful three-night stay. The property is lovely, sparkling clean, and top-notch service. We stayed in the coach house, which was such a treat. Kevin is a wonderful host and made us the most wonderful breakfast each day. The neighborhood is charming, has many restaurants, and is close to everything.

Kevin is a great host and the house is beautiful, me and my partner stayed in Geo J. Grant room and had a great night very quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was phenomenal and the service was great.

This house was, said, originally built 100 years old, but it's very well-maintained. We stayed in a room on the second floor with a balcony, and the whole room was cozy and comfortable. The room was very well-managed, and the toilet and bath were very clean. After a pleasant day, my wife and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast dishes the next morning. Thank Kevin! Afterwards, we took a walk around the area and enjoyed the buildings while walking from the hotel to Summit Avenue. This place was one of the best bed and breakfast places I ever had.

Older couple had a great stay.

Our stay was excellent. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and fit our needs. The breakfasts that Kevin provided were delicious. We had choices each morning and the presentation was superb. The historic home is so lovely and the period furnishings were awesome. We will stay in this B & B again.
