There were 19 of us and we had plenty of room for everyone to hang out and for everyone to be able to escape when needed. The house was extremely clean and everything was in great working order. We never had to contact staff but we received our access code on time and had a call the first evening from staff to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be booking again for our next trip.

We really appreciated the boxes of amenities My Vacation Haven provided in each bathroom, kitchen and laundry areas. There was plenty of room for our four families, and the kids loved all the bunk beds. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our Thanksgiving meal. Would definitely stay here again.

Very Nice Home!

Stayed 12/23/23 - 12/30/23. My extended family decided to gather for Christmas 2023 in Miramar Beach and we had a wonderful experience. The house was clean. The kitchen was fairly well stocked. And, all of the amenities were as listed. We found the golf cart was a nice benefit for quick trips to the beach and local stores. We had to contact management twice regarding some minor issues and they were very responsive to our needs. The location of this home is perfect. This was our first visit to the Emerald Coast and we did not know ahead of time that there are many private community beaches throughout the area. By our luck, we discovered this home is located in an area with no high-rises and it's less than 2 blocks from a roughly 400-yard stretch of beach that allows public access. We will definitely consider coming back to this area, this rental company and this home should we return to the Florida Panhandle again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are a family of 11 and this house was perfect for all of us. Super clean! Beds galore, tons of space and a pool! Kitchen was well supplied, although I would suggest adding a 3-5 quart pot for cooking. There are only sauce pans and a huge gumbo pot. We needed something in between but made do. The house is perfectly situated to walk to the beach or have someone run a shuttle with the provided golf cart to get all your stuff down to the beach for the day. The pool is perfect after a long day at the beach. Also, we had an issue with the door alarm chirping every 30 min when we got there. The management company was very responsive and sent someone out asap. Turned out to be bad batteries and we really appreciate the repairman changing them out instead of not doing anything. Overall great experience and would definitely rent this house again!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: PROS:Quick walk to the beach, shops, restaurants. Golf Cart was great addition! There were about 8 beach chairs & 1 umbrella. We left our volleyball net for next group. The 2 king rooms upstairs have both a separate shower & bathtub. Downstairs refrigerator freezer & drink refrigerator were nice to have.CONS: Paid for pool to be heated, but they forgot to heat it. They sent someone over the next day who turned it on but forgot to turn up the heat. They did end up refunding our pool heating fee but was very disappointing to the kids not to be able to swim in the pool. It was absolutely too cold & No communal pool as advertised. Take your luck on kitchen, utensils, and cookware. No can opener, no crockpot, hot pads. Either a large saucepan or a huge stock pot but no normal stock pot. We were fine to bring our own stuff. We just assumed things would all be there. Bunk room is the second stall of a garage. No windows & extremely hot. You have to walk through the 2nd king bedroom to get to the swimming pool. House was never below 74° and was too warm for everyone. AC was set at 70 but couldn't get any cooler than 74 - unless windows open which let in bugs b/c no screens on windows. Whirlpool bathtub kept having error codes on the on-demand heat. Just like the pool they did end up sending someone for us to be there & show them what was wrong. Never fixed. 24-hr phone number on fridge was disconnected so bring phone numbers with you to contact management. Alarms constantly going off in the house. Smoke detector in King suite upstairs went off a few times. Once at 1 AM. Other than that, when the door was open for too long, like when we were unpacking or packing alarms would go off. Told we had 3 parking places, but don't know where the 3rd one was. We thought it was in the empty lot next to us but almost got towed - it's private property. Public Parking across street is not overnight parking. Overall will not rent there again.

Everything was great. The house was nice and fit all of us nicely. My only complaint is that almost every dish we pulled out to use was dirty. So I would suggest leaving more dish soap or going in to Re wash all of the dishes.

Our family vacation at Destin

Enjoyed our family vacation!the property is located a few blocks from beach . Easy walk - about 2 blocks next to public beach . Property was well maintained with well equipped kitchen . Couple of issues - could not turn the propane grill on ? No gas . Also water accumulation near entrance of property due to heavy rains . Needs good drainage . Other wise place well kept and enjoyed our family stay . Will come again .

Property Manager gets a 10/10 but….

Property was clean and nice.. however the owner of property could spend a small amount of the profits to do some home improvements. Exterior of property could use paint as well as hornets nest should be cleared from balcony and main entrance. Some blinds strings ate broke and you cant open to enjoy the view. The furniture in living room is pretty worn down and you sink into the couches as you sit down. Kitchen cooking utensils are in extremely poor shape ( some of the spatula handles are burnt down over an inch or 2, other things are rusted).The kitchen table has screw holes in the top where crumbs collect and ants are coming out while you are trying to sit down to eat . Overall it was a great get away and enjoyed our family being together but was a little disappointed things aren’t kept up / replaced as needed.

The location was perfect, a super quick walk to the beach. The golf cart was nice but it was so close to the beach we just walked most days. The pool is small but it was absolutely perfect for cooling off in the shade after a long day at the beach, it was one of my favorite parts of the trip. However...be advised in order to get to the pool you have to walk through a bedroom. Not a huge deal or deal breaker or anything just thought it was worth mentioning. We did finally find a side gate so you could enter from the side but the path isn’t paved so just make sure you have shoes on. The house was super clean and well stocked! Plenty of balconies and an outdoor seating area for eating. Honestly just a great rental. Highly recommend!
