Great Location!

Perfect spot to enjoy the beach and the Serenity Spa. Walking distance to our favorite activities and the shuttle passes give you lots of dinner options.

Senior Beach Trip

It was enough space for me plus 3 teenage girls. Enough pots and pans in the kitchen. Good location to restaurants and shopping. and only a short walk to the beach!

Destin Vacation- Luau

Outstanding stay!!

We visited in June for my son's senior trip. After a long drive from Texas, we were beyond pleased with the comfortable, clean accomodations. The property is clean and beautiful and Ravi was an excellent host!! The room had everything needed for a wonderful stay. Sandestin Luau did not disappoint and we were thrilled with the convenient beach access. We will abstolutely be back!

Excellent Condo in Luau

Excellent condo in the Luau buildings. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay including a full size refrigerator. Easy walk to the beach. Ravi gave very detailed instructions on check in and out and was responsive to any questions we might have had.

Great Efficiency!

Perfect room for the 2 of us. The complex is very nice, and we loved the close proximity to the stairs and elevator. Also loved the Sunset deck for great views. Only complaint is that a full size mirror, outside of the bathroom would be a great addition. Rav is the perfect host - he keeps you informed of everything that is going on, in the area. We would definitely stay here again : )

May '23 Wedding Trip and mini vacation

The Luau Tower1 property is located on the beachside within the huge Sandestin / Bay Towne Gated Community. The condo was clean and comfortable w both a K and Q bed and full frig. We did not use the hotplate for any cooking. It was an easy 3 minute walk to the beach and The Beach House Restaurant (delicious!). The owner provided access to beach chairs, coolers for use. There was a pool and hot tub by the Tiki Bar-we did not use. The sandy beach and crystal clear water were superb. The beach was extremely crowded with umbrellas and guests everywhere but we thoroughly enjoyed it anyway. Friends had a beach wedding in front of The Beach House, bonfire the night before and rehearsal/family dinner there too. The reception was on the lawn at The Grand-food was marvelous. The dueling pianos at Rum Runners was a good time too. I would definitely return to this area again in the future, I would like to find an area that is not as heavily crowded at the beach.

You can't beat the location of this property! You can walk to the beach and the pool is just downstairs. That eliminates having to drive & park or use a shuttle. There are lots of restaurants and several grocery stores to drive to close by.The room is the size of a hotel room and the check-in and check-out process was easy. I booked this place because of the location and the availability of a kitchen along with price and availability. However, keep in mind a few things. 1)There is no stove. I didn't notice this when I booked the room. There is a hot plate which we used for eggs in the morning but it wouldn't be ideal for making a pot of spaghetti. 2) Even though the condo is located in Sandestin, you don't have any access to Sandestin amenities (fitness center, hotel beach areas, etc). It does make you feel a bit like a 2nd class citizen, but that's ok. You can use the shuttle to get to a shopping/dining area on the other side of the main road and find a spot on the beach in narrow sections between the hotel's private & beach chair areas. We enjoyed the Luau condo's pool and the 4th of July fireworks next to the hotel. This condo is worth it because going to Destin is all about being at the beach and spending a lot of time inside the room is not the goal.

A Much Needed Getaway

The property was GREAT! Wonderful location just a few minutes walk to the beach. Favorite restaurants were The Beach House (between the unit and the beach) and Rum Runners (just a short tram ride to Baytown Wharf). Get to the beach earlier so you can snag a good spot or go later in the afternoon after 3:30 when people are starting to leave. We hadn't been on a family vacation in YEARS and this was EXACTLY what we needed. Unit had 3 sand chairs (low sitting beach chairs), Beach Umbrella, and wagon to shuttle stuff to and from the beach. We also brought a portable clothes drying rack to dry our swimwear out on the small patio. Not enough room to really use for any form of sitting / relaxing but great for drying items. Hopefully you enjoy your trip as much as we did!

Worth it!!!!

Our family of 4 had a great time at the property and the amenities available throughout stay. Unit right off the elevator and closest to pool. And the beach access was priceless as well as access to great food. Will definitely stay again!!
