Almost perfect!

Check in was super easy. Attention and response from management was impressively good. Amazing location. Spacious unit for my family of 5, with everything we could need. AC worked great. Beach was insanely beautiful at that spot. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is the not so good living room furniture, the upholstery was dirty, and when you sat down you sank too low. I think it’d be time to renovate those accent chairs and sofa. Same thing with balcony furniture, it wasn’t too clean… Everything else was in great shape, super clean and made our stay one of the nicest we had in long time.

There were so many issues with this condo. The dishwasher didn’t work. They came and fixed it but didn’t tell us it was fixed. Then the dryer ruined so many pieces of clothing. Management said they needed another company to look at dryer. Sent pictures of clothing ruined and never heard back from management.

The site was wonderful but Destin Getaway “could not get out of their own way” Poor customer service. Multiple calls either got lost or were not answered Hit my credit card before I even got to the resort. I finally got someone and they said they were sorry but if I had called a day sooner they could have helped me.lol Reservation lost. Could not get through security because they didn’t send the information to them No entry key to get into the room. Finally got someone to send it almost 2 hours after we arrived

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we had a wonderful time staying at the Tides. The rental felt like a home and not just a hotel room. The property also had miniature golf and other recreational spaces with equipment to use. It was easy to acquire chairs with umbrellas for beach sitting. Views from our balcony of the Gulf was spectacular. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to relax by ocean, however we had one disappointment. We would have given this property all 5’s in every category had it not been for the very disappointing appearance of our balcony as we entered our room. The cushions on the large settee grouping were jumbled and tossed all over the place and they had large black markings and handprints on them. That was not a welcoming look at all. We never felt comfortable using any of the cushioned furniture, we never touched it, and we left it all exactly as we found it. We tried to notify 3 different people of the issue but nothing was done to clean the furniture while we were there. Fortunately the balcony had two wooden rocking chairs and that’s all we used. Other than the appearance of the balcony upon our arrival with the jumbled dirty cushions on the furniture and which looked nothing like the advertised picture, everything else about the property was nice, clean, comfortable and looked welcoming.

Tides 1008 Swept Us Away!

We came for a short family stop on our way West and stumbled upon this jewel! Super easy directions for location and check-in. This condo was clean and shiny and the freshest smell. Other condos in this building still have that beach smell (mildewy) but this one was a breath of fresh air when we walked in! The decor was cute and the beds were comfortable. The best thing about this condo was the huge balcony and the living room was big too....the combination of the two was so roomy! We loved staying here and will want to come back again for a longer vacay! The management was super helpful and attentive! We'll be baaaaack!

Great location, great set up for young kids, would stay again!

We had a great week! Easy touch less check in, and the property had plenty of carts to bring baggage up to room. Cleaned well to the eye, but not clean at all under beds or furniture. We have young ones, so when toys rolled under these, there were many dust bunnies/trash/crumbs from previous guests. But, all areas you’d normally see were clean. Easy to get to beach and pool, and the building is at the end of a stretch of high rises, so you can escape the packed beach by walking a bit farther down the beach to the East. 5 min to Publix grocery store and many other stores/shopping. Easy access from 98 (don’t have to negotiate the traffic on 30A). Good ocean view and sound view from balcony (balcony faces west). Good modern appliances in kitchen and necessary cooking utensils. Didn’t see a blender, so bring one if that’s something you need. Also, bring dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, and trash bags. (there provide a little but not enough for a week). Building has a trash chute from each floor, so no lugging trash down the elevator! Beautifully updated master shower with detachable sprayer, granite countertops, and stone shower. Definitely a highlight after a day on the beach. We would definitely stay again!

We've been coming here for years. We have never experienced issues like this, anywhere. The management company was unprofessional beyond belief. After driving 16 hours we arrived to a condo with bedding that was stained with urine, blood spots on the pillow case and brown splatter marks from the toilet to the sink in the bathroom. On the bathroom rugs there was dropped toothpaste and more brown splatter marks. Hopefully this review will allow me to share the photos I took upon arrival. When we contacted the management company she was intoxicated and told us no one could bring any new bedding until the following day. My mom and I went to Walmart for cleaning supplies, pillows and towels. We cleaned the unit ourselves after going back and forth with her for hours. She had her husband drive her over at 10:40 PM to give us bedding. We had traveled all day with 2 kids, had not eaten dinner and she showed up drunk beyond belief letting us know she left her plans and the boat she was on to bring us bedding like it was our fault her night was interrupted. We were told they would send someone out to clean the following day, there was no follow up. When we called she did not remember and we had to go over everything again. Being asked to not leave a review was the cherry on top of this nightmare of a vacation. The paragraph they have on the listing about their "disinfecting and cleaning" policy you should disregard every word. The silverware in the drawers was not washed, chewed food was on the side of the bar stool and some sort of smoothie looking liquid was left running down the cabinet.

This unit has a side view of the Gulf which was good for us because we did not hear any of the pool noise that a front facing unit might have. The balcony is HUGE!!!

Loved it!

We loved our first stay at Tops’l Tides!! It definitely won’t be our last!! Everything was great, just like pictured and explained! It had a true resort feel! Location was great! If I had to complain about something (this is very minor) it would be the key pad on the pool gate to enter and exit was quite finicky, but not a deal breaker by any means! Overall, everything was top notch! Our room was great! The facility itself was spotless!

Lovely Week

The week was wonderful, the beach was overcrowded compared to usual, however the water was perfect! Unit was clean, small things noticed that could be improved, none of which hurt our days there though. Would recommend. Parking was close to elevator, elevator and room close… easy check in/out process also.

The description and pictures were a perfect representation of the unit. I was concerned about the cleanliness of the condo given the new pandemic world we live in. I did not have to be. The place smelled clean and was spotless. The LR and bedrooms were spacious. The balcony was large with a lovely view of the beach (though it was angled). The kitchen itself is tight, but we made do. The building is steps from the beach and also has 2 pools. We mainly went to the beach. They also have basketball and tennis courts. Everyone we encountered were super nice. We would go back in a heartbeat and recommend this unit.
