You pull your car up to parking in front of your room, motel style, but unlike a basic roadside motel, the rooms are back off the highway, allowing more peace and privacy. The staff was friendly and helpful. I just had a quick overnight stay, so I was unable to take advantage of any amenities."

"First stayed at the Andruss over thirty years ago on our annual fishing trip to the Walker. This is our second time staying since the new ownership took over a few years ago. It’s as comfortable today as it was the first time. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, bbq area clean, they even have a flat top grill now. Friendly host, what’s not to like? Perfect place to unwind after walking the river. Five stars all around!"

"I'm afraid Boulder Lodge is taking advantage of its impressive lake views to charge a bit more than is justified. It's the little things: tv not working (intermittent), 3 out of 5 door locks broken, hothouse temperature on 3rd floor. Parking was a minor hassle. WiFi was all but unusable (easily overcome with minor equipment additions). These are things that should be taken care of before they demand a $200+ room charge.
