Some sights seen hiking along the Bruce Trail. The trail follows the edge of the Niagara Escarpment, one of the thirteen UNESCO World Biosphere Reserves in Canada, for almost 900 km (560 mi). The land the trail traverses is owned by the Government of Ontario, private landowners and the Bruce Trail Conservancy (BTC). The name of the trail is linked to the Bruce Peninsula and Bruce County which the trail runs through. The trail is named after Bruce County which was named after James Bruce, 8th Earl of Elgin who was Governor General of the Province of Canada from 1847 to 1854.

Room could be upgraded (furniture, bed). TV could be upgraded like adding some streaming sites such as Netflix or Youtube. There was no refrigerator nor microwave. It was not worth the price we paid for.

I canceled the day I was supposed to check in because I had no access to the property and the owner didn’t answer my phone call and he messaged me the next day stating that I had canceled on December 15th which was untrue and I’m waiting for my refund for the inconvenience.

It was a COLD weekend and we were in Orangeville for the Sweetheart Hockey Tournament. The gas stove was going when we arrived and our host even put a portable electric heater in the kitchen to make this cozy little cabin comfortable.
