Annual Montauk fishing trip

We stayed at Steve's with a group of six for an annual offshore fishing trip. The location was ideal and the accommodations were great. We would definitely consider booking for next year.

Awesome home

Our family came to Montauk for a wedding and loved our stay at this VRBO. It was great to have space to be together, but plenty of room for comfortable sleeping. It is as beautiful as the photos - spacious and well-equipped. We loved the outdoor patio and view of the water.

Montauk fishing trip

This was our second year staying at Steve’s for an annual fishing trip. Once again, accommodations were great. The home was clean, well appointed and the grounds were impeccably maintained. The location is ideal, as it’s centrally located and convenient, yet offers privacy at the same time. We’re already looking forward to next year.

Montauk Dream

First, let me say this. Steve is a life-saver. We were in the worst possible situation unable to stay at our original rental (which was NOT affiliated with Steve). Not only did Steve help us the night we were in total distress, he had his home prioritized for our next day move in. Even better than that, Steve was kind and helpful in every aspect of our stay, before we checked-in, throughout our trip... it was so comforting to know he was just a text or phone call away! Please believe me when I write the home is exactly as pictured. And the best part, Steve promised it would be! Steve is an owner that remains true to his word. Trust me, I found out the hard way, that's really not very common on VRBO, and Steve is that diamond in the rough. The Sealake house is the Montauk Dream. Until I am able to find a home to call my own Out East, I will only reach out to Steve and hope that his top-notch accommodations are readily available for our stay... and you should too! Thank you so much Steve!!! Can't wait to stay again!

House is really lovely and newly renovated. Beautiful views of Lake Montauk and gorgeous sunsets. Steve was very helpful and responsive. Easy check in through the Montauk Lake Club, and nice to have access to the Club amenities.

BEAUTIFUL HOME! And view

This home was absolutely stunning. From the design of the house to the amazing location we didn’t want to leave. The perfect spot to relax and take in some pretty incredible views. The hot tub wasn’t getting hot which was a huge bummer, but we hope to come stay again.

A little disappointed with the stay

We stayed from July 1st through 5th on this property. I booked this house, after looking at the awesome reviews. BUT, I am quite disappointed with two major things - The pictures are not true reflection of the views. The property has overgrown trees/shrubs and you can see the water only from a small portion of the property when outside on the patio. Views are all blocked otherwise and this was a huge letdown for us. This came at a premium price point, the pictures need to reflect the current views. The other issue was ZERO response from Steve (Owner). The check-in process was quick but the lake club front desk wont have ANY answers for you, they just said "contact the owner". We struggled to get any response from Steve, let alone fixing the issues we reported (Like the hot tub, which someone else also complained about here). I wish this was different. It makes an impact on your quality of vacation. The good things - The location is awesome, very close to everything in Montauk. The property is very clean. We have been using VRBO for last 20 years and have had great vacations. Usually, the owner shows up to check once, at least OR remain responsive towards the guests.

Amazing Views, Perfect Getaway

This was the perfect Montauk getaway. The house was great and had the most amazing views of Lake Montauk. Located right next to the Montauk Lake Club which you also are granted access to its amenities, there's not much I can complain about. Steve was a great host and very responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend and stay there again!
