“Beautiful from the upstairs sitting area .”

“This was the second time I've stayed here and I love Cambria and its setting even more. The beach and board walks are delightful - we saw lots of redwing blackbirds and snowy egrets where the nearby creek meets the ocean. As for the hotel, the rooms are clean and furnished with quality linens and towels. The fireplaces are a real draw. The pool was being worked on, but it was too cold to swim anyhow, so we used the hot tub one night. The firepits were appealing, though the front one needs……

“Beautiful large room with nice bathroom! Nice hot tub with very steamy steam room is a welcome free touch to help relax! Beds and pillows were firm but not uncomfortably hard or flat (which seems to be the standard for the West Coast!). Room was fairly quiet, and food in town was only a short drive. Very convenient for a morning tour at Hearst Castle!”

“Wonderful overnight stay: clean, great location, easy parking, a quick walk to the town/Main Street, breakfast included, great value for price! José the gardener made our visit by letting us know about the different plants and flowers that they planted/maintain at the Squibb House. He was so friendly and personal-really made our visit such a treat! We will definitely come back when visiting Hearst Castle and the elephant seal rookery!”

“The delivered breakfast was delicious, healthy and a decent size for the $10 price. I don’t eat a large breakfast so I got two meals out of one. You do have to request it a day in advance. The bed was comfortable and it was nice to have a selection of teas and coffees. The cookies at the entrance were delicious. The parking lot has lots of room. ”
