“Very nice team, quite, discret, available, very professional. Note: 20/20 The location is very nice with an amazing view of the surounding mountains and cliff. Unfortunately, we stayed only one night. We saw many animals on the way and around the lodge (monkeys, impalas, gnou, mangusts and a rare red deer) with a particular enjoyable wake-up when opening the curtains: a girafe standing and drinking in front of the terrasse at 6 am.”

“Adding microwave to the room would be great”

“This was my second visit to the AM Lodge and hopefully not the last!”

“Wonderful!!!”

“Experiência incrível! Conforto, limpeza, refeições, atenção dos funcionários e comodidades.”

“The room was beautiful and we had the best of times with the game drives and evry event they organised for us. The staff is really good and made us feel the most comfortable. ”

“Amazing lodge in the middle of the savanah. Wonderful and fresh food, excelent services, confortable room! I do recomend!”

“Wenn auch das Personal nicht gerade freundlich war, die Unterkunft war hervorragend, ebenso das Frühstück”

“Toro River was an absolutely unique experience. We celebrated my birthday and our first wedding anniversary there, and we could not have had a more special and immersive experience. Our room was right on the river, and we were able to see many crocodiles and hippos from our own balcony. The room itself was wonderful, extremely spacious, with a very high ceiling and a beautiful private balcony overlooking the river. The amenities were excellent, the room was extremely well equipped, and the……

Alles vorhanden was man braucht. Von der Lage her sehr ruhig mit vielen Tiersichtungen bereits in der Lodge. Auch die Safarifahrten waren wirklich toll. Die Guides geben sich viel Mühe, damit man möglichst viele Tiere sieht. Sehr……

“I should preface this review by saying that I am a professional wildlife photographer. I have stayed at dozens of safari lodges both expensive high-end and ‘budget’, all over Southern and East Africa. The Blyde River Canyon Lodge is great. While not exactly a safari lodge as such (it’s not in a true wildlife park) the architectural style is very ‘safari chic’ using a lot of local natural materials and thatched roofing. It is very close to the ‘Panorama Route Drive’ and the spectacular Blyde……

“Simply wonderful! Game drives were excellent and well worth the early start, although if visiting in winter be sure to bring your cold weather gear. Accommodation excellent. Food great too (could be a bit warmer, though). Friendly staff and a very welcoming vibe.”

“The rating when I booked this holiday had dropped by the time we got there and the holiday did not live up to my expectations. One bed side light was dodgy with its connection so we didn’t use it and the other one didn’t have a lead long enough to reach the socket! Asked on arrival for this to be fixed, 4 nights later no difference. Drink service whilst friendly was slow. Cold drinks are collected by the staff from a fridge not in the bar area. The coffee machine is very slow, especially……

“Our stay at Muunga Lodge was truly wonderful. From the moment we arrived, Ruan made us feel incredibly welcome. The hospitality here is outstanding, defined by a genuine care and great attention to detail that made our entire experience seamless. The architecture and decor of the lodge are impressive. The design blends beautifully into the natural surroundings, creating a sophisticated yet comfortable atmosphere. You can tell that a lot of thought went into every corner, from the choice of……

“Ponto forte, equipe”

“House keeping was awful. Accommodation was dirty, smelly and not aired. Fire left dirty from previous guests. Washing up sponge was soooo old it was discussing and unbelievable. Breakfast food was very poor, cheap unhealthy food. Dinner option was a choice of 2 meals. No wine list, just one red wine offered. Staff were friendly, but not trained. Wouldn’t recommend at all. Setting is good. ”
