“Room was in need of repair, remote to TV had tape on back piece and didnt work. had to control TV on side of TV. hole in wall from door handle, no hair dryer, coffee was available but no creamer/sugar, etc. there were cigarette burns on blanket on bed, pillows were very flimsy. It was ok to have a place to sleep but definitely in need of remodeling, etc.”

“The property is a little hard to find. It’s listed as Natural Bridge State Resort Park but the hotel itself is called the Hemlock Lodge. It’s built into the side of the hill. The pool is like 100 steps down at the bottom. Super friendly staff and clean property. A smoke free hotel but the workers are constantly smoking right outside the doors leading out on their breaks. We were visiting with our 2 dogs. The only issue we had is there is no dedicated spot for the dogs to go to the bathroom.……

“Right off the bat. The property was clean and presented well and the customer service was impeccable.. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The covers were warm. The air conditioner worked. The bathroom was clean and accessible. The spacing was great. I actually have no complaints about this property or my stay from the customer service to the property to the room. It was great. Highly recommend.”

“Pros: The Lodge was great! Beautiful views and all conveniently located to all of the trails and amenities. Front desk staff were always awesome. Diving pool was intimidating but fun! Cons: Dining options were non existent. They have an on-site restaurant that was still non-existent for the most part. All the negative reviews are correct on the restaurant. Let me start with this: I NEVER LEAVE BAD REVIEWS... This will be the exception. Literally took us 1hr, 40+ minutes to receive food.. only……

“Staff was very helpful and the breakfast each morning had a nice variety. The room was clean, but could use a little sprucing up. The bathroom door did not lock and the exhaust fan was not strong enough to keep up when showering. The only curtain that shut all the way was sheer, so we did have a lot of light coming in the room at night. The gym did have free weights, however it looked as though some guests may have walked out with some of the weights. There were a lot of them kissing from the……

“Stay was okay. Building was clean and everything worked well. Location was much further from red river gorge than expected, about 45 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes one way to a trail. Bed was very hard. Hot tub was nice. Overall, decent if you dont mind the sleeping conditions and the drive but for us it wasnt worth the cost ”

“This property looks nice on the outside but our room smelled so musty and the carpet was damp our allergies kicked up during the night. The toilet was hard to flush and overall the facility needed to be updated. Overall not a good experience. We stayed the first night of the three night reservation and then checked out. Expedia handled getting out of the reservation and the Days Inn staff was cooperative and helpful. Bad choice and we will not go back there.”

“Broken stairs, air conditioning didn’t work well, room smells of stale smoke, broken door knob in restroom, broken toilet paper holder, bed was spring mattress & very uncomfortable, bathroom floor very dirty”

“Nothing unique about it. The bathroom door wobbled because it did not have a solid core and the frame did not seem to be real wood. It was dirty and screwed together on the outside. The shower head only had four out of six nozzles worked and you could not adjust the spray from one setting to another. The room was not cleaned while we were gone, although the manager did come change the sheets and bring fresh towels when we told him about it. One of the two sets of stairs leading to the second……
