  • Escape to the Northumberland coast with friends or family and stay at this light and airy home in the popular seaside town of Amble. The town’s bustling harbour is a highlight, where you can visit the Amble Harbour Village with its collection of independent shops and quaint seafood shacks. A boat trip to Coquet Island, 1 mile offshore, is a must for birdwatchers, as the island is home to puffins and terns, as well as seals. Visit the medieval Warkworth Castle (2 miles), a striking fortress overlooking the River Coquet, whilst the village itself offers charming riverside walks, cosy pubs and friendly shops. At Alnwick Castle and Gardens (9 miles), known for its role in the Harry Potter films, you can explore the grand interiors, landscaped gardens, and even try broomstick flying lessons. Nature enthusiasts will enjoy Druridge Bay Country Park, 6 miles from Amble, boasting a sandy beach, walking trails, and a freshwater lake.


    Two steps lead you through the French doors at the rear and into a bright, open-plan kitchen and breakfast room. This airy space is perfect for your morning coffee, with a dining table and two cosy seats overlooking the side patio. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to whip up delicious meals during your stay. Adjacent is a handy utility room for added convenience. The spacious lounge/diner offers a dual-aspect design, flooding the room with natural light. Enjoy dining at the elegant table for six, while the large sofa, two armchairs, and a Smart TV make it an ideal spot to unwind. Large windows showcase lovely views of the front garden. From the hallway, you'll find three comfortable bedrooms and a wet-room-style shower room. Each bedroom is finished in neutral tones and features a built-in wardrobe, offering ample storage space.
