"We had a wonderful stay at Casa de las Olas! The location was the standout for us! It was quiet, with very little street noise, and just a beautiful spot on the island. Waking up to the sunrises here was a treat. It was away from the hustle and bustle of the north end.The rooms were generously sized and stayed nice and cool thanks to the air conditioning, which was a relief after a day out exploring. We were also pleasantly surprised to find the house stocked with provisions on arrival like eggs, bacon, cheese, milk, coffee, wine, beer, and some snacks, which made settling in so easy.The pool was a great spot to relax and unwind. One thing to note: the common areas aren't air conditioned, so on the hottest days we found ourselves gravitating to the front porch in the evenings once things cooled down a bit (which ended up being one of our favorite parts of the day anyway).Overall, we loved our stay and would absolutely come back here if we're on Isla Mujeres again. Highly recommend!"

"Pros: Very friendly staff - restaurant had great servers - Albert, Hugo, Lizbeth, Victor and Jorge. Friendly, helpful and prompt. Food and drink at this resort was good and fast. The massage therapists Nelly and Tere were incredible - a must-do during your visit. And Matteo was very accommodating and helpful with hotel and general island info. The main pool was relaxing, enough chairs for all guests. The rooftop pool and jacuzzis were my husband’s favorite feature, with incredible views. Rooms and common areas were clean. We felt safe here and on the island, in general. We had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. Cons: the resort is nice but is due for some upkeep/refresh/maintenance. The beach (while the ocean/water is beautiful and clean!) was less than desirable - not much space or water to enjoy, and the cabanas were dirty every day - I did not use them once! The resort is next-door to a popular bar, which has boats coming and going constantly, so swimming past the (manmade) sand barges was not safe. Pool and jacuzzis were dirty most days and need a good scrub. One note: there is only one restaurant at this quaint resort, though it has a full menu with many options for food and drink. It opens for lunch and dinner; the Snack Bar is your option for lunch, with a limited menu. Our family of 5 (2 parents, 2 young adult children and one teenager) had a lovely visit and greatly enjoyed our time here. Thank you for the great service and memories!"

"If you’re looking to relax, enjoy great food, and take in beautiful views, this is the perfect hotel. If you’re looking to party, this probably isn’t the place for you. The rooms are beautiful, the food is delicious, and the service is excellent. Everyone who works there goes above and beyond to make sure you’re well taken care of. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be coming back!"

"We've been to Isla 8 times. This is a perfect spot for an island stay. It offers two master bedrooms, each with king size bed and ensuite bathroom. The manager is absolutely prompt to respond an assist in almost anyway. The mid island location is great for avoiding the day tripper crush from Cancun. The house literally has everything. I am myself a VRBO host with unanimous 5 star reviews,and I tooks notes from from this stay. They definitely offer an exceptional home. We came with friends, two adult couples enjoyed this house with plenty of room and privacy. The dipping pool was wonderful, while the covered roof top offer 360 views and unceasing breezes. This is a no trainer. If it is available, rent it."

"This hotel is wonderful. So cute and homey with a beautiful garden and great beach. The rooms are large and have good air conditioning. The hotel includes a hearty and tasty breakfast at Loretta’s Restaurant and Beach resort and access to their beach. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The beach has nice sand, good swimming area, snorkels and kayaks. The food there is excellent. We did not even go anywhere else during our 5 day stay! It is within walking distance of Punta Sur and many restaurants. It is located in the southern end of the island which is more quiet. We love it and are going back in 2027."

"Our stay at Casa Mimosa was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything exceeded our expectations.The house is beautiful, spacious, spotless, and perfect for families or larger groups. The pool was a favorite gathering place, and the location made it easy to enjoy everything Isla Mujeres has to offer. Most importantly, we always felt safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for.Miguel is one of the best care takers we've ever had. He arranged our transportation, helped with golf cart rentals, did our initial grocery shopping, checked on us throughout the week, helped us navigate road construction, and was always just a message away if we needed anything. His hospitality made our vacation completely stress-free.The private chef dinner him and his wife prepared for us on our last night was unforgettable. It was beautifully prepared, absolutely delicious, and the perfect way to end our trip.If you're considering Casa Mimosa, don't hesitate. We travel often, and this was one of the best vacation rental experiences we've ever had. Our family made memories we'll cherish forever, and we can't wait to come back."
