Absolutely outstanding accommodation! The apartment very well maintained, clean, a good size for a family of four, and had all the basic necessities to make the stay comfortable. The neighborhood felt very safe and secure. And was close to a few restaurants, grocery store and gas station for convenience. We commuted to Munich Daily during our stay and it was approximately a 45 minute drive to from Glonn to Old town Munich. Overall I would rate the stay 10-10 and would love to experience this location in the spring or summer.

We loved our stay in Glonn! It was a great and quiet spot close to Munich. The house and property were beautiful and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The hosts were very helpful throughout our time there. Highly recommend a stay here if you’re looking for a place near Munich.

Outside Munich

The property was lovely, modern, bright, and well equipped. The view was great, when it was not raining. It was a little hard to find but that meant that it was quiet and relaxed staying there. I would recommend the property and we had a good time there.

We had a wonderful two weeks at this property. We have stayed at lots of properties during our time in the UK and Europe and this was the best. Our son and his partner stayed with us for three days over Christmas. There was loads of room for the four of us. The kitchen was well equipped to make Christmas dinner. It was a great location, easy to get into Munich or to drive up to the alps. I highly recommend this property.

Home away From Home

The house was very clean and the beds comfortable. The deck off of the main bedroom as well as the one off of the second bedroom and living space offered great views. Ķey access was secure and easy and the in garage parking was an added bonus. Less than 5 minutes by car is a gas station, grocery store, bakery and a couple of restaurants. I would definitely stay again.

Glorious Time in Glonn

We had a wonderful experience during our stay. The apartment is spacious and comfortable and the outside decks are the best! We were able to explore the surrounding area by car or catch a bus into Munich in Glonn just a short walk into town. We appreciated the laundry services too. Great apartment

Lovely apartment in a quiet area. Large terrace with wonderful views Parking large enough for a SUV Late notification that the second bathroom only has a WC & a washbasin. Kitchen rather small for cooking meals, otherwise fine. Own transport necessary. We used the car to get to Grafing station for onward train journey to Munich. Good food selection in the local Edeka supermarket.

This property was exactly what we needed for our visit in Germany, I would even say "magical" with the views and church bells in the distance. Sadly we were plagued with bad reports on how we left the property and additional charges even though we honestly tried to leave the property an neatly as we could. Instructions were very vague. We were expected to empty trash into bins we NEVER saw and "remove" beds. We did not have instructions at the property and the email instructions we had were few. Suggest better instructions if guests are expected to do more than start the dishwasher with all dirty dishes! Communication with the owner had been wonderful as we made our arrangements so we were stunned to be treated so rudely when we left. Having owned vacation rentals we left the property as we would have hoped to have our own left upon departure.

Die Ferienwohnung Wendelsteinblick ist wirklich schön gelegen. Mit den zwei Balkonen hat man immer die Chance, auch im Oktober noch ein wenig Sonne zu genießen. Die Kommunikation mit Herrn Schneele hat sehr gut funktioniert. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Die Wohnung war zwar wie beschrieben, jedoch hatten wir große Probleme mit dem Gastgeber. Ein Rollladen im Wohnzimmer ließ sich nach normaler erster Benutzung nicht mehr hochfahren. Obwohl wir diesen lediglich ordnungsgemäß genutzt haben, wurde uns der Schaden ohne Beweise angelastet und die Reparaturkosten direkt mit der Kaution verrechnet.Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war leider sehr unfreundlich, es wurde uns mangelnder Anstand und Rücksichtnahme unterstellt, was wir als sehr unangemessen empfunden haben.Wer hier bucht, sollte sich bewusst sein, dass die Kaution unter Umständen auch bei normalen Defekten einbehalten werden kann. Für uns war das ein sehr enttäuschendes Erlebnis und wir würden die Unterkunft daher nicht weiterempfehlen.
