Boston Museum of African American History Hotels

"OLD and in need of renovations ASAP. Good mattress though, also good area, but the hotel was nothing like in the pictures. They had bathroom tiles and flooring and showers from the late 1800s, the toilet is literally next to the sink which is pretty gross, but staff was very friendly. "

"I was greeted by the staff at reception and they were wonderful. There was two negative issues. The room heater was extremely loud so we didn't get much sleep. The water pressure in the shower can be best described as "a strong trickle"."

"AC was perfect. Room was clean and picture perfect. Amenities were wonderful and plentiful. All of the staff were pleasant, helpful and a general joy to interact with. Walkability and closeness to TD garden, Quincy Market, shopping and restaurants was amazing. Hotel has a beautiful bar and restaurant attached and the ability to do luggage consignment made it a no brainer. A place like this makes traveling and dealing with odd departure and arrival times of flights less stressful. One downside was that the ambient lighting in the hallways was a little dark for people not used to such low levels. The only other, was that the cabinet holding the mini fridge was very fragile and the door felt like it might fall off if touched wrong. Probably only an issue for that particular room, but younger children would have probably pulled the door off just by opening it. Otherwise, this was an amazing hotel and an amazing stay. Will be back to stay here the next time we travel to Boston to see games."

"Clean room but very cold staff was nice heat was very low we had to call twice but in the end they fixed it , I must say it was during the storm so temperatures were veryyy low "
