It is a nice place with a fantastic view. We would stay here again. If you stay more than 3 days you will need a couple extra trash bags. Throwing your trash away on the 2nd floor of the parking garage down into the dumpster below was interesting. I would recommend parking on top floor of parking garage so you can use the 4th floor access gate. This made loading/unloading easier.

Relaxing Vacation in a Beautiful Location

We had a relaxing and wonderful vacation. We stayed there last year, as well, and had such a nice time we went for year 2. The view of the ocean is outstanding! The area is so pleasant. And it is easy to get to anywhere you want. You can cook, but restaurants are plentiful--so who eats in?????????? I am sure we will visit again. Love this place!!!! FYI Just in case you haven't noticed, the ceiling over the shower is beginning to peel. I didn't even notice, but Carol did. Did not bother us in the least; however, other guests might care.

Long weekend

Condo is located in a nice less crowded part of Myrtle, just south of Island Vista. It was clean and Melanie at Rentinmyrtle was great to work with. Only two issues that need mentioning. Condo is good for two people, very tight for any more. Don’t know what the square footage is but it is not roomy. Other issue is that the condo is located next to the elevator. You hear it at night when in the bathroom/bedroom. Not overly loud, but sounded like thunder off in the distance. Not a good discovery when trying to sleep. Otherwise, a good location , comfy furniture, and great view from balcony.

Best relaxing vacation!

My husband and I went on this extended weekend vacation solely for the purpose of much needed relaxation. The relaxation started as soon as we walked through the door of our ocean front condo and stepped out onto the balcony. Just sitting in the rockers provided, with eyes shut listening to the roar of the waves and feeling the Atlantic breeze blowing took any previous anxiety or concerns right away. We did do two touristy things during our stay-we rode the Sky Wheel and walked around town one day and went to Alligator Adventure (highly recommend) another day but beyond that we were either on the beach or our balcony or in the ocean. We stayed at the Forest Dunes Resort and Melanie M was our host. She was very accessible, answering our questions promptly. The property itself has easy access, with an area to load and unload what you bring, a (mostly) covered parking garage, three ways to swim in the pools: indoor and outdoor pools, a lazy river and a hot tub, Buckets, which is a bar and grill located near the indoor pool with great food. The condo was clean and welcoming, two TV’s a nicely equipped kitchen, king size bed and walk in shower. We highly recommend this location and give it all the stars and two thumbs up.
