Perfection!

This is a lovely spacious unit that was perfect for my wife and I and three kids with girlfriends. The 12th floor view is exceptional and I already miss the sound the waves. Located close enough to the main attractions but far enough away to be quiet. We would definitely go back.

Beachfront vacation

The condo was great, we loved the view from the balcony except for the the small balcony off of the double bedded room had dirty socks and trash on it everything else turned out pretty good except for about the third night we were there or hot water run out we had to call maintenance and maintenance was too worried about looking at my daughter instead of doing his job other than that we had a great time

The condo was really nice and the beds were comfortable. America’s Funniest Videos should have been there to watch four height challenged ladies sit on the really deep sofa. We will blame it on being short instead of blaming the couch. Challenging! We had a great, relaxing week.

Family beach trip

Place worked great perfect for my family with 10 people. Great big balcony with lots of room for us to hang out and watch the sun rise over the water. Only issues is the water and ice did not work on fridge. We had to buy a brita filter and go out often for bags of ice. We called it in but no on ever came. Great fast elevators!

We were a group of 4 couples, it was a great stay! Very comfortable and roomy. Beautiful view!! We loved having coffee in the morning and wine in the evening while listening to the ocean. The sunrise was outstanding!! We were Close to everything. Will definitely rent again! Our only suggestions would be to have a couple more comfy chairs for the sitting area, with 8 people, some had to sit in the dinning room chairs. Maybe a few more Wine glasses and coffee cups. Would definitely give this place a 4+

A Change that was awesome

We have stayed at another location for years but have way outgrown it. That's when a plan was made to make a change. We found this place online it looked amazing and was accommodating to our needs. It was beautiful. The only negative thing I could say is the floor was dirty, my grandson's tops of his feet and knees got black but several scrubbings and we were good. Wonderful location staff was all pleasant and everyone was very friendly. We plan to return

First Myrtle

Overall pretty good. Biggest drawback was the cleanliness of the floors. Grit as in sand was prevalent on all of the floors. Beds were fine and the balcony was great. These condo rental managers need to do an inventory every so often as to the kitchenware. We had one skillet and no spatula, which necessitated a lot of dishwashing. Overall, a nice place to stay.

Views great needs some items to really be comfortable

The space in the condo is extremely nice. It definitely fit our family and I appreciate having the four bedrooms and three baths. The views were exceptional from the 12th floor. There was not sufficient dishes within the house and we had eight people there needs to be many more coffee mugs, and some adequate cooking items. Most of the pans were Teflon and highly scratched making them almost impossible to cook with. My other comment is about the furniture in the living room. There is one sectional however it makes it difficult to have everyone sit there together and have your cup of coffee in the morning since there is no place to set the coffee since there’s only two ends to the sectional, it would be lovely and there is plenty of room in the living area to put another 2 to 3 chairs in there with a small with some small end tables to accommodate Small conversations or a group sitting in watching something together. Final comment is that it was very specific within the directions that there was a hairdryer however, there was no hairdryer, and I did not bring one counting on there being a hairdryer and was extremely disappointed.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Three complaints...1) The mattress in the Master bedroom was like a roller coaster ride – major undulations everywhere. Loooooong past time of replacement. The fact I couldn’t get a single good night’s sleep due to the bed was a dark cloud over the whole trip. It needs replacing and no attention has been given to that (we stayed in this same room a year prior – same issue (would have thought it would have been addressed)2) The sheet for the queen bed in the master was either a double or large single – it barely covered the top of the bed (Really guys?!)3) The ‘living room’ could have used a chair/recliner as there was only the couch for seating (we made due).4) Expense – 5 yrs ago we could rent the same unit at almost 1⁄2 the rate. Now, we willingly paid it, so that’s on us (can’t really call it a complaint). I suspect they’re going to start pricing themselves too far from the going market fairly soon, that usually leads to a lack of care/upkeep of a place (‘seen it all to many times).The good...Unlike other units at Southwind (we’ve stayed in many), the balcony didn’t have every square inch of space cluttered with multiple 22 tables and 70 chairs. There was a small table and seating for (8?). Perfect for a 4 bedroom. (why would you put seating for 200 on the balcony of a 4-bedroom unit (trust me – a LOT of them come close)The washer & dryer were modern and outstanding for laundry needsKitchen was well stocked with cooking items and eating utensils.Unit was clean, supplied towels were decent.No bugsInstructions to get in were easy – no issues.

I’d definitely want to come back and get this unit again! Customer service was very detailed and clear on arrival and departure dates. And the location was perfect! No more than 15 mins from everything!! The only issue we had was the tissue paper quality but other than that, this place is A-1!

Big family vacation experience

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our suite was plenty spacious, and had all the amenities you could ask for, as far as full kitchen, furniture, pool and hot tub, and a great ocean view with a large wrap around balcony. However, it was extremely difficult to connect tvs to the internet, and we didn't even get them all to work. Wifi was not consistent on tvs or our phones. We contacted spectrum as it said in our welcome instructions, they attempted to reset internet connection, and we tried to contact the resort leaving 2 voicemails that were never returned. The place was beautiful, but the floor was not clean. As we walked barefoot in the suite our feet became gray/black, so it's evident the place was not mopped prior to our arrival. Overall the experience was pleasant, but we were definitely dissatisfied with those couple deficiencies.
