Great Place!

Condo is nice! Could use new paint on the walls and for the tub to drain faster, but overall great place! The water pressure was exceptional! Easy access to the beach and restaurants down stairs with the elevator right at your door! That being said, you do not hear people getting on and off! My husband and I were very happy with the condo!

Nice room

Room was perfect for 2 people. Had a couple electrical issues. Microwave outlet did not work and the sink light kept shorting out. Bought a extension cord for microwave solved that issue for us atleast. The floors had some sand on them when we arrived. Has a nice balcony to sit and enjoy the ocean view. Oh and you can hear the elevator going upnand down all day and night. Pool was really nice and the food at the restaurant and pizza place downstairs was really good

Convenient Stay

My husband, infant, and I had a good beach trip! We didn’t leave the property once all weekend because the resort was so great and had everything we needed just downstairs. The restaurant was great! The unit was good! AC worked well, and the bed was comfortable. Some of the negative things that were listed in reviews from others from almost a year ago were still true even though I had hoped that updates would have been made by now: the couch was still in pretty poor condition, the bath would still not drain. In addition, it felt like the whole space, especially the bathroom could use a deep clean. Also, the microwave was not working when we were there, so I was very thankful that the countertop range worked because otherwise we would’ve had the most difficult time feeding our son. All in all, we really had a great stay. The beach is right there and the view is beautiful.

A okay place to stay 2830

First off Elliott Realty was amazing to work with. They made the check in / check out process easy and very helpful friendly employees. Let’s start with the negative first: When you first arrive at the condo it’s hard to find where your room is. The Sand Dunes Resort employees could care less you are walking in circles with your luggage!! PARKING IS TERRIBLE!!!!! Hard to find a place to park at anytime of the day. Not enough handicap parking. WEED… it’s terrible and if the people is smoking it beside you it comes through the vents and you can smell it in the room. We wasn’t able to sit on our balcony because the smell was so strong. To be honest it was everywhere you went around the resort. Positives: LOTS of things to do on the resort including restaurants, and a little general store. Multiple pools and lazy rivers. Beds were comfy, room was clean and had an amazing view. We had a great time. Will probably not ever stay at Sand Dunes Resort again, but definitely will rent through Elliott’s again!!!

Check in and check out was smooth. Liked the digital access. The building is a tad dated, with some electrical outlets not functioning but it was clean, smelled good, bed was comfy and overall a fine place to hunker down for couples. We especially liked the all glass beachfront views and large flat screens. As for the resort itself, I'd recommend a small - mid size vehicle as the parking garage is super tight. And the coffee bar could use little more attention. Baristas were just not there half the time so we actually walked to Starbucks down the road quicker. Breakfast buffet was good but lunches and dinner were less than pleasing. Ice cream spot was great and very convenient to have all those options on site. Still a very good vacation spot. Thanks again!

Great location—poor condition

This condo, in a great beachfront location has the potential to be wonderful. Unfortunately, the owner and/or management company, Elliott Realty, do little to keep it in good condition. Immediately upon arrival we noticed that the handle/lock unit to the patio door was broken and literally falling off of the door. The dishwasher, while functional, was misaligned. Reported to management company and told a work order was issued. Next day realized no power to microwave and mildewed shower curtain. Called again; another work order issued. Service person came and replaced shower curtain. Unable to fix microwave. Unaware of first call but said he would get a replacement door handle and have housekeeping come to clean the tub. Apparently a service person came in on Monday while we were out because the toaster and coffee maker were moved away from the microwave area, and the condo door was left unlocked, but power was not restored to the microwave and no cleaning was done. No one else ever came or called about our issues. Also, we paid for linen service and had our king-sized bed made up with queen-sized, flat sheets! On the positive side, the bed was comfortable, there was plenty of hot water and the view from the balcony was amazing. (Couldn’t appreciate it through the dirty windows.) We made the best of things but never got past the run-down, dirty conditions. We did not get what we paid for.

Great view but

Compact condo. Fabulous view, comfortable bed, reasonably equiped kitchen, very nice patio, everything worked as advertised. However, kingsize bed made up of smaller flat sheets overlapped to cover bed but not enough to tuck in at sides. Top sheet too small to tuck in at sides (probably queen size). Cleaning barely acceptable. Biggest problem was very uncomfortable couch/sofa bed. OK for 10 or 15 minutes and then very uncomfortable. Should be replaed! A little research will turn up some sofa beds tht are comfortable to sit on. Recommend bringing fitted kingsize sheets, very good quality cushions to sit on, and your own toilet paper. In spite of shortcomings the view will probably bring us back.

Nasty room.

We clocked in at 3pm on Sunday the 3rd of July. We went to the Sun Dunes room 2830 we got to resort around 345pm. Thought we could go in, we'll we get into room with are package. About 45min later about 445 we need to clean the room now. WHAT!!! I was told clock on was at 3pm to 5pm. I was like ok clean it but I want to talk to someone who speaks English. I was told that I was going to get call on Tuesday, never happened, NEVER got a call. So she cleans the room half way. Doesn't even have a clean bed, she just covers the bed with the used blanket. EWW THATS GROSS. Then she leaves at 545 another person comes with clean linen. I'm sorry but I was told and read the paper clock in 3pm, the room should of been clean. The Resort was awesome in other words, room was just nasty to be in I had to clean it my self. And I paid for a clean room with clean linen and it wasn't so very bad, if I would of gotten a call like I was told I would be ok. But never got the call ever. My number is 5405328575, would like to tell someone what happened.
