Great place to stay!

Great location! Steps from the beach on a relatively quiet street. Not a far drive to anywhere. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this place for a family vacation!

Not what it used to be

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was disappointed with our unit this year. This would make the 3rd stay and probably our last. The photos were not representative of the unit. On the king bed master, we only had a flat sheet on top of a mattress pad. Nothing but a quilt to cover with. Thankfully, I travel with sheets and used my own in the master and for the pull out. The master linens had marker all over them? IDK I had to wash bath mats and rugs upon arrival because they looked as though they hadn't been washed in weeks. There were chips in the pull out bed. The mirror behind the couch was filthy. The cabinet doors were sagging. The whole place was just tired. The Anchorage used to be a go to, but I think we'll look elsewhere next time.

Anchorage 2 rental

Family time!

This is the second time e I have stayed at Anchorage and wouldn’t stay anywhere else when we come to North Myrtle. We actually had an issue with the lock when we first got there our first day. They came out and fixed it immediately. It’s been the best. Can’t wait to come back.

We finally got back to Anchorage!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Because of Covid, we were prevented from driving across the Canada/US border for 2020 and 2021. When the numbers finally decreased this year (2022), we couldn't wait to get back to Anchorage II on the beach.The price of the month's accomodation was very good. Unfortunately the Canadian dollar was not great when compared to the US dollar. $100 US dollars amounted to about $138 Canadian dollars.The weather was excellent, and the staff were very helpful.The suite we rented could use some updating, but we were very comfortable.We are now looking forward to returning next year, and we would highly recommend this complex to anyone!

Baseball Team Beware!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were here for a baseball tournament and had 12 condos for the week. The condos were nice and the location is fantastic! However, we were harassed from the first day. Even received an angry phone call because we were putting trash in the trash cans! They advertise family friendly, but they definitely are not. If you are with a baseball team they will send threatening emails and take videos of your kids.

Much needed getaway

First property was just as listed, but unfortunately the air condition unit failed, The property management was quick to address the issue and we were moved to a much better unit. We would return next year we had a great time.

AC stopped functioning 2nd day and took 2 calls of service to fix. Other unit owners where vacationing and annoyed at guests with children in pool and tried to force rules that were not posted. NEEDS LOTS OF WORK

Review of 316 week of August 1st 2015

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third time visiting Anchorage II and by far, the worst unit we have been in. For each of our visits we have traveled with 3 other families so we get a good idea of what the other units are like and I cannot believe we paid just as much as our other family members for this unit! When we complained, we were brushed off being told that management is considering not renting the unit again; they shouldn't have been renting it in the first place! The living room remote for the tv did not work, we reported this being told we'd get a new remote which never happened.The dishwasher worked poorly, the toaster was broken upon arrival which was replaced quickly (thank you), there was water running down the wall in the front entryway, the water sprayer in the kitchen was clearly broken. Isn't the job of maintenance to check this stuff? We had to wait for our room for them to check it, what were they doing?? If I ever come back, I will be sure to guarantee we have an upgraded unit and will never stay in this one again! The only reason I enjoyed my vacation was because of the family we were with and the location of the property!

Great vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at Anchorage too unit 3 1 6. The unit was clean the furniture was comfortable and the staff at Anchorage to very accommodating. The pool is clean ,the lounge chairs are comfortable we really enjoyed it. The only drawback was the third bedroom is a loft with no door. Traveling with two sets of adults made this a little problematic but we managed it. traveling with 2 sets of adults made this a little problematic but we managed. The street is not busy at all to cross to the beach. The beach gets very small with the tide but is not crowded so that was ok. We will definitely stay here again. Make sure to go next door to Buckets for a frozen cocktail. Tasty and cheap :)

Loved It!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: first off the location was incredible, right next to the ocean. very children friendly and also very quite. I enjoyed our stay.I will definitely be staying again but for a longer period. Only thing i didn't like which is nothing serious is that when we checked in after hours there wasn't a map to locate where our room was. so it took a while to find.
