  • Serenity Now is located on the soundside and offers golf, sound and pond views. This comfy, dog-friendly will be just the place you need for that much needed getaway. Located in The Village at Nags Head where you can leisurely stroll or walk through quiet neighborhoods or take advantage of the soundside access and catch some awesome sunsets.

    Grocery shopping is close with a Food Lion and Fresh Market, local restaurants and local shops you will want to browse in.

The inside of the house was updated but since we left our sandals at the door we realized the dark floors were not clean because our feet were black. The outside of the house is overgrown with bushes and vines which are starting to obstruct some pathways and the outdoor shower. The freezer began to leak water on the floor which we promptly notified the management team. They came and looked at it and decided they would fix the problem when we checked out over a week later. So once a day we had to sponge up the puddle of water.

I will start with the good, location is great! You don't have to get on the hwy to get to Food Lion, Fresh Market and several restaurants. Nice soundside access and not crowded. Nice house layout Lots of parking. Now for the bad, when we arrived we thought the cleaners had not been because all the sand on the floor but after checking the rooms everything was made and cleaned... except the floors. We had to vacuum the whole house as soon as we got unloaded. Under the house was terrible, overgrown vines, a/c condensation drain dripping water which made the sand and wet debris leaving a crappy area, outside shower was overgrown with vines, no hot water and shower head broken so no one had used it in some time. Yard was overgrown to the point of briers (not sand spurs) growing into driveway, vines taking over sitting area. We had to trim vines and bush back just to clear one sitting area, the other was to far gone. Water hose had holes in it so it was useless. None of the bedroom light switches turned on a light, the only light was a table lamp, not a big deal but kinda strange. They really need to do yard maintenance and clean everything up.
