“Great location and size of property. Host was communicative and very friendly. Had an issue with the key pad and they were there in five minutes to assist, which was greatly appreciated. House itself was quite dirty however and in a bit of an unexpected state (ie holes in walls, etc). It met our needs but I can’t be sure I would book again”

No interaction with anyone needed, just fill out the Minpaku form and host will send check-in code to enter property on your own time. It is also close to where busses transfer to Nara park. Property is up several flights of stairs. Property is very spacious, modern with a touch of traditional Japanese housing. Bedding is plentiful and clean. There are 2 floors to……

“We had a wonderful stay at this guest house in Kyoto. The hosts are a wonderful friendly couple who communicated with us continually a couple days before check in & throughout our stay. Upon arrival the home was very clean & orderly. It was well stocked with plenty of towels & toilet paper. It was also equipped with a hair dryer & toiletries such as extra toothbrushes, shampoo & body wash just in case. The hosts also provided many food items for the fridge such as eggs, water, yogurt & butter,……

We ate at local cafes and restaurants and were able to walk home. The space was clean and inviting and had everything we needed to be comfortable as a family. Highly recommend! ”

The environment is quiet and the experience of living there is great. The staff is helpful when I am in trouble and this is a hotel that I will strongly recommended if staying in Kyoto.”
