「The location is quite good. Since it is located near the hot spot, it is very convenience for buying and eating. The hotel is alos quite near to the bus and train station. The environment is quiet and the experience of living there is great. The staff is helpful when I am in trouble and this is a hotel that I will strongly recommended if staying in Kyoto.」

「Beautiful home with traditional furnishings. Clean and well situated. The stairs make taking luggage upstairs a little tricky as they are narrow and steep. Only hiccup was instructions for controls/ washing machine unclear. Instructional pictures provided did not match actual machine and difficult to figure out. Tried to get help from hotel for transportation upon check out but was told to get a taxi on the street. Otherwise, very cute home to stay in, nice to have a livinroom and kitchen area....

「Fast response, good location which near to most of the tourist attractions, it takes around 10 minutes to bus and train. A very clean place.」

「Place was very good at first impression and very clean. Conveniently located near convenient stores and bus stops. This place was next to a kids playground so it was good for the kids. Floor was also heated in the home. This place also had two toilet rooms.」

「If you are staying in the Gion area of Kyoto this hotel is a perfect choice. It was one of the highlights of our 2 weeks in Japan. Yasakahan is perfectly situated in the heart of Gion. Everything is walkable. The facilities are excellent - the foot bath and shower/spa is great. Absolutely loved the decor. You really felt like this was your little piece of Kyoto for a few days. 」
