Would never stay at the hyve again

No dressers. No closets. Not enough amenities. No maintenance guy showed. Not enough hangers. No dish towels. Should get money back for a terrible stay

Girls getaway!

Three friends trip to Nashville for a concert at Bridgestone Arena and visit Nashville! The description of this place is completely accurate! It’s a great area not far from downtown Nashville and we felt completely safe walking around. It was super easy to use Uber and Lift for the 15 min drive to and from airport and around town! All the beds were super comfy and plenty of great pillows! Place is super clean! We used the balcony every night as it overlooked the pool and railroad tracks. Like they say in the description there are trains that run day and night. They are loud but it didn’t bother us at all. (This could be a problem with small children who could be awakened by the loud noise) There seems to be very good windows that block most of the sounds. I would suggest to bring dish towels and dish cloths as there were not many of them. There were plenty of bath towels but no hand towels in either bathroom. It was easy to get into the complex! The communication with the owner was the best! Questions were answered promptly. I would recommend this place!

Really cute condo. However. Train tracks right next to bldg. the trains run continuously. I think it’s a supply depot there The condo windows do mostly silence the train but if you are at the pool it is horrendously noisy. Also lots of construction noise. Within the condo the issues were hundreds of teeny tiny ants. We asked others in the bldg. none had an ant issue. So it could have been the tenant prior. But. Gross. The maintenance brought us raid and sprayed we sprayed the entire unit. It did curtail the ants. The second bedroom queen mattress left a lot to be desired. The mattress collapses in the middle. So only one person can sleep there and you need to sleep across it horizontally. Awful. The dryer requires four cycles of over an hour and a half to sort of dry your clothes. Needless to say. Never again. Hyve is not your best option. We ended up scrambling for a last minute availability because the host cancelled our condo two days prior to arrival. We had to pay nearly 500 more for not a great experience. But we still love Nash

Please read before you stay here

We definitely did not read the reviews close enough. The building is adjacent to the freight train tracks. The description is not accurate. “Some” won’t “occasionally” hear the trains. All units will hear the trains and they run 24 hours per day. The unit was infested with ants. It took multiple follow-ups to get a response from them and the answer was to fumigate the unit while we were staying there (obviously not) or dropping off a can of raid. Maybe switching our unit might be the right answer??? There is a homeless shelter around the block. There were homeless men roaming the streets all hours of the day and night. The kitchen is not fully equipped it is bare bones and the bath towels are low qualify and too small. The third bedroom is basically a room with a bunkbed not a bedroom. It’s doesn’t even have outlets within reach of the beds.

I was really conflicted over this stay/review. I normally book through VRBO because everything is pretty transparent and reasonable when it comes to fees. This property is owned by a corporation. There was a forced damage waiver that was buried in the property description that felt like a cash grab. The stay itself was just ok, we unfortunately had our trip planned for the weekend of a cancelled Bonnaroo so there was no parking and there really isn’t a lot of alternative parking if the two lots are full. The property is about 20-25 minute walk from Broadway and the surrounding area is heavily populated with homeless people so depending on the person it doesn’t really encourage walkability. I personally feel like this property really works if you don’t have a car and plan on ride sharing to most places. The train really does run 24/7 and is loud but the rooms are pretty insulated so wasn’t too bad. The apartment itself was nice and well stocked for what we needed. Overall made it work but will not come back due to cons stated above.

The train noise mentioned in the listing was worse that stated. The train was extremely loud all evening. The building is located around the corner from a homeless shelter so there were homeless people sleeping and hanging around the building. Two of the three bedrooms did not have closets or dressers, so there was no place to unpack clothing.

I would definitely stay here again. We were in town for a concert at Bridgestone, and it was an easy walk. I have an EV and appreciated being able to charge my car in the garage.

Annual Friend Trip

Space was great for 6 adults. Beds were very comfy. Our place overlooked the pool which was nice. The walls seemed pretty insulated so we didn’t hear neighbors. Security was good and felt very secure. Once we figured out the “Latch” system we got in easily enough. There’s very few free parking spots but we were lucky enough to nab one. The others are $20 a night. Security guard on the weekend was super cool and made coffee in the lobby. The concierge was very helpful. Some people we met in the building were complaining about the trains on the tracks that run right behind the building but we thought it was cool. The trains traveled very slow and you could barely feel it but I guess the other units had it louder. Overall a great building and we had a good time. The only suggestion is the “starter “kit” with the dish soap and cleaning supplies was nice but need more toilet paper available for guests. Would stay there again.

more train than pool

the trains are incessant, although we were more intrigued than bothered. but luggage hold wasn't available on monday (said so in description but we didn't catch it to be fair) and most importantly the pool was drained on our last day so we couldn't use it on our last day, which was our R and R day after touring the city. We were given no notice and the pool was one of the main reasons we chose this place. So, don't book here if you're counting on the pool.

Easter in Nashville

The apartment itself was lovely. Everyone had plenty of room plenty of towels. It was very clean. I guess the only complaints are the train runs nonstop so you better like the sound of trains because they are going to be running all the time it is not walking distance to Broadway if you walk, you will be walking through a homeless encampment Street houses the rescue mission and there are homeless people out at all times it’s kind of sad and put a bummer on your sparkly cowboy vacation !
