Spacious NOLA Home with Movie Theater 10 Minutes to FQ

Located in a nice, quiet neighborhood this house is perfect for friends and families. Just a 5 minute drive to Lake Pontchartrain, the Bayou and City Park where you can enjoy Cafe Du Monde, playgrounds, walking trails, NOMA, the children’s museum, paddle boats, bike rentals, storyland, putt putt, tennis courts and a golf course. Located a quick 10 minute drive to downtown and the French Quarter.
This is a beautiful, spacious home with large open living area including a bar. Bonus closed in patio space off of the living area. Large kitchen and dining room open to living area.
The large primary suite with king bed is on the lower level. There are 3 bedrooms with queen beds on the second level. All have ensuite bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms share a bathroom that can be entered from both bedrooms. One bedroom has a small kids bed in a room off of the bedroom.
There is an impressive movie theater with comfortable recliners to seat 8.

Amazing stay

This home is just as described. We have a big family and there was so much space for us to spread out. The theater room is awesome! The house is very clean and comfortable. Convenient location 10 minutes to the French Quarter.

Nice house

The house was very nice, exactly as pictured. It was within a 15 minute drive to French Quarter area which was perfect. We were a group of 7, and were super comfortable and didn't feel too small at all. Only things I took off for was communication with Chris, the owner. Prior to arrival, it took several attempts to get a response after the initial booking. Also, I never got information on how to access the property or check out information which lead to 2 hours of trying to figure out how to contact VRBO and him once we got there. Also, there could be be better communication on how to use the tons of remotes/tvs in the house. I also took off because the house could use some upkeep like spider webs and holes in the walls (like from nails or screws). Overall, I'd recommend this place and stay again, just make sure to start early in getting necessary information.

LOVELY HOUSE!!!

It was a girls trip with 7 of us and it was perfect!! It seems as though EVERYWHERE we went was within 15mins from the house, !! The property was clean and the owner was extremely nice and let us in early. The only issue we had was that the dishwasher was broken and there was a limited number of towels. It was close to everything we wanted to do.

A house with character

Our group of six thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and there was plenty of room for all of us. As opposed to many hotels, this house was filled with character, including a a huge movie theater that blew us away.

Large and Centrally Located House

My family was in town for a wedding. This house allowed each couple to have their own bedroom and bathroom, which was great! House seemed centrally located for visiting tourist destinations. Highly recommend renting a vehicle if you stay here and plan to sightsee. The movie room is just as the pictures show and was a nice bonus to staying here.

This was the perfect place for our party of 8 friends to meet and celebrate! The house is amazing and exactly as pictured. Great location. Would definitely stay again. We were so comfortable. The best part was having 4 bathrooms!

Quiet getaway with easy access to a big party

The house is very well-maintained. Large and spacious and perfect for our large party of 8 adults. The home theater is a great place to relax and reload for an evening of activity. Close to many great place to visit. Our group is from the dry West, so not so familiar with the many insects that populate the area but even they were pretty well-managed and a minor provocation. Overall a great place to stay.

Perfect home for our group

The home was exactly as depicted in the listing. The rooms were spacious and clean and the beds were comfortable. The movie studio was perfect for our group as we were able to watch a couple of movies via Netflix and we were able to view our new documentary on a huge screen in ultra comfortable recliners. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for a Weekend Getaway

This house was incredible. The pictures are true to the house - it really is that nice! The movie theater room is definitely a plus and the neighborhood is nice and quiet. It's the perfect relaxing place to return to after an evening in the French Quarter. It's also large and our group of 7 was very comfortable.

Great family gathering space close to the city!

Our family was in town for a family wedding. The space worked out perfectly and the drive into the city was quick. The theatre room was over the top and my grandchildren (and children) absolutely loved it.....and the seating was extremely comfortable! Only thing that would have been better.....and may only be our preference......would have been king beds in each of the rooms. We would definitely book this place again when we return! Thanks Chris for providing a family fun home for our getaway!

The property and neighborhood was great! It’s conveniently located in the city.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this property. There’s more than enough space to relax once you return home from a day out exploring Nee Orleans. The property was clean with plenty of fresh linen to accommodate everyone. The movie room was the highlight of this house. Amazing!!!

Everything It Promised

This house is amazing and my group was so impressed and satisfied with the stay. We had more than enough space and felt right at home. We found our way around the area with ease and having a couple of stores on the next block (walking distance) helped with last minute things that we needed. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood with off street parking. The theater room is awesome and the recliners are very comfortable. Don't miss this one.

This place is amazing

This house is amazing! It’s huge and has a damn movie theater. It’s no more than 15-20 mins from the French quarter and add about 5mins to that to get to bourbon street. All of the Uber’s my group took to get around New Orleans never cost more than $15. Chris is awesome and is very communicative about everything in the house. If I ever go back to New Orleans. I will try my hardest to stay here again! Thanks Chris!

Great home!

We had a wonderful time in the home while visiting New Orleans. Lots of room which made it comfortable for everyone, and very clean. I just wish we had been staying longer so that we could have spent more time in the home itself. I highly recommend the house and would stay again if I get the chance.

Beautiful home!

The house is exactly as described. The only issue we had was the cleaning crew was there when we got there at 4. They were very polite and it wasn’t really an issue, they worked around us. The theater was incredible. Although it distracted my 7 year old to the point that he never wanted to leave the house! There were 6 adults and 2 kids in our party and there was plenty of room for everyone. We never felt crowded. It was about a $12-$15 Uber ride to the French Quarter. We ended up driving most of the time and parking in a garage for $15-$20 for the day. There is a Save a Lot and Dollar General less than a block from the house to get all the odds and ends you forget. We never felt scared or concerned in the neighborhood even when returning late at night. Overall the house was perfect for us. I would recommend staying here. We will definitely stay again when we visit New Orleans.

A True Home Away From Home

The house was fantastic! There was plenty of room for our group. We enjoyed all parts of the house to include the movie theatre. The neighborhood was very quiet. The off- street parking was a plus for bringing in groceries. The house is near a shopping center and wasn't far from downtown. The manager, Chris, was VERY helpful and quick to reply. Would definitely stay at this house again!!!
