Our first visit to NOLA for Mardi Gras and we couldn't have stayed in a better place, It's location in the Marigny district was perfect and the whole neighborhood is perfectly charming in a New Orleans way. Our room was very comfortable and Federico made an excellent breakfast for us every morning. This BB&B is amazing.
The area was very walkable-- close to Frenchman street and great food-- while also being quiet at night. The hosts are delightful and go above and beyond to make your stay easy and comfortable. Highly recommend!
An absolutely spectacular experience, with incredibly friendly and helpful hosts and congenial fellow guests.
The neighborhood is delightful, with many walkable destinations for food and entertainment. Never felt unsafe, even when walking through the neighborhood alone. (Older female traveler)Already anticipating my next visit.
We enjoyed our 2 night stay in this awesome Inn.. the room was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated.. the owners Joe and Fredrico are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice every morning. The neighborhood was great for an easy walk to Frenchmen St. Was many dinning options.

Liked: Room comfort
Good location, breakfast, basic comforts
We had a pleasant stay and enjoyed the quiet room and ample breakfast. Walking distance to Frenchman Street and the French Quarter was appreciated. House was a bit dated, but clean and comfortable. Hosts were friendly 'though we barely saw them. Good value, but not exceptional.
Walkable to so much we wanted to do. Always had easy parking out front. Quiet residential area and the hosts were friendly and personable. The Marigny is a great neighborhood and you can easily walk to Frenchman Street, the French Quarter, and many other things. We easily found restaurants, coffee shops, and bars.
This is a very charming house and the hosts are super nice and friendly. The breakfast was wonderful each day. We parked right outside the house on the street which was convenient. The courtyard is very private and we enjoyed the hot tub each night. I'm so glad we didn't stay in a downtown hotel. If we ever come back to New Orleans, we will stay here again.
The Burgundy Bed & Breakfast was lovely! Breakfast was great and made to order. We were able to walk down to the French Quarter and Bourbon Street and see all the houses along the way. It rained while we were there and they had umbrellas for us to borrow. They also had a hot tub that we used both nights. Would highly recommend.
Joe and Freddie are the best hosts!! Love this place, my second time here. Can’t ask for a better place to stay! Beds comfortable, breakfast great, hot tub, plenty of lounging or social areas, and all walkable to the quarter and Frenchman st. Felt safe walking in the neighborhood to get to the quarter. Oh! And free parking!!! My go to place to stay while in Nola, feels like my second home
This was my husband and I's fifth trip to Nola and I think, the best. This b&b was the perfect home base for us to drive all over the city. Joe & Federico are the warmest hosts! Joe greeted us when we arrived and made sure we knew about the coffee shop and market within walking distance - both amazing. He had recommendations for us and we made sure we made it to the Emporium, a bar filled with vintage arcade games. We are pretty easy going guests and don't demand a lot, so this place was just our speed. We met some other great tourists at the breakfast table as well.
We had the perfect stay at The Burgundy this week. Our room was so large and very comfy, with a ceiling fan, AC, bottled water and plenty of towels. We had a lovely breakfast prepared each morning by Federico (how does he make such creamy scrambled eggs?). There were plenty of spots in the house to chill after a ling day of walking, and having a hot tub was so wonderful for sore feet and legs. The location of The Burgundy was great- walkable to tons of great Marigny bars and restaurants. If you stay, check out the burgers at Maries just up the block. We can't wait to come back!
We had an incredible time at Burgundy Bed and Breakfast. The room was great and perfect for our group of 3. Everything was very clean. The BnB has different common spaces - sitting room, courtyard, kitchen, hottub - with books and information on the parades of the day or other activities. The breakfast was great - there was cereal, bread/bagels, yogurt, juice, cut fruit, and different made to order options each day like scrambled eggs, quiche, and pancakes. The location was perfect for our needs and is near great food and walking distance from music on Frenchman. The hosts are so chill and friendly. It was the perfect place to stay - can't wait to come back!
This was an excellent property to stay on. It was my first time staying in a bed and breakfast and I would definitely recommend this location to anyone.
It’s a little bit of a walk to the French Quarter but hosts Joe and Federico made the stay so pleasant. We had a great time and would definitely stay with them again.
It was a fantastic place! The staff was nice and breakfasts were really good! The neighborhood felt safe and we were able to walk where we wanted. Would highly recommend due to the service, location, and affordability.
