「The FMI enjoys a very convenient location in the French quarter at a generally affordable price. The architecture style is french with big windows and lovely courtyard quiet in a short distance away from the hustling streets outside. The manager and frontdesk people are all very nice dealing with unexpected situation in a very prompt manner. There is cable TV in the room. The AC works very well. The window view is pleasant.」

「Building looks nice on the outside and staff was friendly. Parking inside the property is $45 and you must use their valet service, you are not allowed to park yourself. It is a historic building so the smells were really strong throughout the elevator and halls. Our room smelled like mold and the bathroom needed more cleaning. The shower head and faucets had a lot of build up, the bottom of the tub looked dirty as well as the grout. You are paying for the location and outside looks.」

「This is where you got to stay at if you want to be in the middle of things. Bourbon Street and all the other little French Quarter blocks are a few short steps away. The room was nice and clean but the only thing that bothered me was that the old doors leading out to the balcony did not lock completely except from one lock on the bottom the other two lots were not effective because there was nothing there to hold them in. I understand it's in a hotel and I could forgive that I'm just afraid that...
