Everything was clean and everyone was nice the only issue I had was the AC wasn’t as cool as I wanted it to be and the TV gave me a hard time but once i connected it to my phone I was ok. There was no shower gel or soap or any type of hygiene accessories which should be in the room along with towels I had to ask for towels. But overall I enjoyed the stay and will probably use them again in the future I love the location the hotel.

This is a virtual hotel. The actual physical property is the Hotel Merit. This is a no frills hotel and there is no elevator. I had read some very bad things about bugs and a general lack of cleanliness in the rooms, but we didn't experience any of that. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot - what else do you need? It's NYC! And this is close to lots of cool stuff. There was a rotating cast of young people manning the front desk. The one there when we checked in was very friendly and accommodating. My only complaint is that neither the phone number nor the email address for the 414 worked so there was no way of getting in contact with the hotel beforehand to confirm or make requests.

This hotel was terrible. The shower head did not work so my friend and I couldn't take a shower. Toilet was slow flushing. The worker tried to help, but didn't know how to fix the shower head. There was no shower curtain so that showed that they know the shower head doesn't work, and yet they still rented out the room. Luckily we only stayed for 1 night or else it would have been horrible! Save your money and stay elsewhere.

The hotel has a good location, but it has no elevator, and the stairas are narrow with high steps. I just could not get to the thirsd floor with my luggage , i neededchelp from the attendant, who was reluctant to do it ( especially the lady) The room was ok but no phone to communicate with recepton. The bed ok, but noisy. The room was ugly, but the bathroom ok

La ubicación esta muy bien. Las fotos estan un poco diferentes a como se ve en persona el hotel. Las escaleras son un poco sucias y la cama de nuestra habitación hacia demasiado ruido. Como que los resortes del colchon eran viejos o la base estaba vieja. Pero en general estuvo bien, no excelente.

Room was clean. Lobby does not look as nice as the picture. Needs some renovation. No elevators. Struggled with luggage up and down stairs and staff just looked and offered no assistance. Only one bed and not two. Two towels in the bathroom. No hand towels or wash towels. Great location. Staff was nice.

This is a fantastic location and a reasonably priced hotel. That's about all I can say. My electricity shorted out as soon as I checked in so I only had 1 working outlet for my 1 night stay. As a business traveler, I had to decide to use my AC, charge my cell phone, or use the lamps. I had to charge my phone, so spent the night sweating. The bed was comfortable, so if the AC and electricity had been working, I would have been okay. The wifi in this building is unusable from the 4th floor (walk up, by the way, no elevator.) Ultimately, This was not ideal for a business traveler, but at least I didn't get bed bugs and the place was relatively clean despite a few holes in the bathroom walls that had been recently patched. I also had my own private bathroom, which I didn't realize was an amenity, but I guess it is in Time Square at this price point.

The bathroom was horrible. Part of the ceiling was broken and pieces fell into my tub. The toilet wouldn’t flush solid waste and I had to plunge it every time I flushed it no matter what was in it. The walls had dried stains and so did the bed sheets. Highly don’t recommend
