"Our stay was perfect, the staff was exceptional. We were traveling as a family and they proactively upgraded us to a suite to give our girls a little extra room to themselves. I realized as I entered the city that I had forgotten the key fob to my car, the valet and concierge team was INCREDIBLY helpful in accomodating us and getting the car parked using the backup codes without a hassle. The hotel in located in a busy area but is just far enough off of the primary tourist spots to be convenient while giving some room to relax."

"Great staff—I cannot say enough about their friendliness, efficiency and willingness to accomodate the times I have needed to stay her. There is a clean well-designed room and a beautiful and affordable restaurant with a rooftop view of the city. There is a DJ and dancing too. They serve brunch and are open until midnight with cocktails. The main entrance has lovely furnishings and you can work there. It is a central UWS location for the arts whether work or leisure. The hotel always boasts deals that are approx $110/night This deal is not all the time—you have to look— and it can be pricey other times like all the NYC hotels, but this place can be a GREAT safe deal. Coffee, restaurants and subway is nearby. Parking available but is pricey ($90 oversized vehicle). Cans stop right in front. Incredible Gelato and French macaroons next door and even Starbucks and a nearby CVS for the basic or familiar needs. Perfect if you are going to Lincoln Center. "

The entire team from the front desk staff to the elevator personnel demonstrated exceptional coordination and attentiveness, ensuring that everything ran smoothly and seamlessly throughout our stay even though it was crowed for new years. The hotel itself was immaculate, the beds were exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was both welcoming and impressive. A very special and heartfelt thank you goes to Sue at the front desk, who was truly the highlight of our experience. Her charisma, warmth, and professionalism are remarkable, and it is immediately evident why she has dedicated 38 years to this property. Sue went above and beyond to make us feel valued and cared for, turning a wonderful stay into a once in a lifetime memory. She is an absolute asset to Marriott and a perfect example of what exceptional hospitality looks like. If I were to offer one small suggestion, it would be the inclusion of an airport shuttle service something we would gladly pay for, as this hotel unquestionably deserves every bit of recognition it receives. We recommend the Marriott Marquis without hesitation and can confidently say that this will be the only hotel we choose to stay at from now on."
