Great little beach house

This little beach house was the perfect place for our off-season beach getaway. The home is exactly how the pictures look, cute and well decorated. Close to Newburyport town center and a short car ride to other New England beach towns.

Property was well maintained and clean - it was a holiday so it would have been difficult to address broken shower and power outlet issue with kitchen dishwasher, but we hope it was helpful to let you know so it won't be a problem for the next guest. Thank you!

Premium price for a cheap stay

Can’t beat the location but everything else was below expectations. We weren’t permitted to turn the A/C down to a comfortable temperature which was particularly problematic at night. There were ants in the kitchen. The shower curtain fell off every time you opened/closed it. The water came out of the tub faucet and shower head, and the temp control dial felt like it was going to come out of the wall. Outdoor spaces are unusable during the day because there’s no umbrella/shade.

ITrip NorthShore

I’m writing this review more about Eli & the ITrip NorthShore team. The stay we had in Newbury was good. Unfortunately, nothing special. But the effort, response time and just going the extra mile belongs to Eli and the Itrip team of NorthShore. We had left behind a cardboard box with miscellaneous items except my daughter had forgotten her retainer. Once we had noticed this I immediately got in contact with Eli. The communication couldn’t have been better. After doing his due diligence, he ended up recovering the box and retainer for my daughter. If anyone has had braces knows this is expensive to replace. Eli made arrangements to bring the box to another location where my family was staying, going out of his way to personally deliver this box. The stay was good but this good deed takes the cake. Can not thank him enough. You can count on the ITrip team of NorthShore that’s for sure.!

We could not make it 2 nights!

We checked in and the unit was 85 degrees. We turned on AC. (Given the heat, this should have been done prior to our arrival) Due to excessive heat, we could not stay in the unit when we arrived and left to give the AC a chance to drop the temp. Even 6 hours after we checked in the unit was still too hot to sleep in. We set up fans and tried to sleep only to find the beds were extremely uncomfortable and had no support. There is a daybed that we could not use as the mattress was too soft. My son had to sleep on the sofa. The unit was very dirty and there was food on the floor, even a raisin on the top of the stairs. The 1st floor toilet did not flush and could not be used. The toaster oven was so dirty and caked with grime, it could not be used. The GFI outlets in the kitchen did not work. There were stains on the shower curtain on the 2nd floor We ended up having to book hotel rooms for the 2nd night. we tried to get refunded for 2nd night, but iTrip would not do the right thing. It is a shame, this could be a nice rental if it was managed well. Oh and some new mattresses!

Great stay

My parents had the best time staying on plum island and really enjoyed the house. Everyone was extremely responsive and helpful when they had any questions! Great spot!

Comfy cozy

This place is a perfect size for a family with 3 teenagers, and it has everything for a comfortable stay, including a full-size washer & dryer, two full baths, a nice seating arrangement in the living room, and everything you need in the kitchen to prepare meals.

Decent Beach Front Stay

A sunny, surfer's haven with lovely water views. Communication with the property owner/manager was not great, but the check-in and check-out process was easy enough. Comfortable and relaxing stay. Thank you!
