“Beautiful historic property, both hotel and grounds. One negative comment though. As our room located beside the living room and dining room, we heard conversations till 12:30am and could not get to sleep. Might be a good idea to inform guests to keep voices to a minimum in deference to people that are in bed earlier.”

We also got a check-in reminder call while travelling, which we didn't expect, but our room was still ready and waiting for us at 8 pm. We stayed in room 293 on the second floor, which had a small table and chairs outside to enjoy your coffee or smokables. The room was clean and minimal, with all the necessities without the clutter. Simple design with focus on comfort and cleanliness. The bed was cozy, the pillows comfy, and the……

I messaged ahead of time so they know I would appreciate something complimentary to surprise my wife. But nothing. They just gave us a room with a balcony, which we could not even use due to the cold and rainy weather. ALL the other hotels we’ve stayed with in the past have surprised us with a room upgrade or even as simple as a free snack. Little things……
