"Sunshine Cottage is in a lovely and quiet residential neighborhood in Manteo. It's a perfect home base for exploring the Outer Banks. The cottage was spotless when we checked in, and the furnishings, provided linens and towels, and nicely equipped kitchen made our stay a breeze. I can't say enough good things about the comfortable beds — so welcome after a long day of activities. The cottage has great water pressure for those who enjoy an invigorating shower. We're not TV watchers when on holiday, but there are three nice sets for those who don't want to miss favorite shows."

"Check-in was easy and they worked with me when I arrived earlier than expected. The room was huge, clean, and more than adequate. This is the 2nd time I've stayed here and will definitely be back. It's very convenient to the Outer Banks and Alligator River NWR so it's perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, birders (like me!), and wildlife photographers. "
