“It is a quaint place if you don’t mind the fact that it is a bit out of the way. It does have metro and bus very close by. Had an incident at the hotel but the staff attended to situation quickly and diligently. The hotel is an older hotel so if you are looking for something upscale you may want to reconsider. ”

“The room was pretty cold on arrival, but soon worked out how to get the heating on.Staff were very helpful and managed to sort out my booking, that Expedia failed to notify the hotel, so they were not expecting me.The room was aa bit outdated,and not very soundproof, the 7 lane bypass was very noisy during the night,even with the window closed.”

“Absolutely worst hotel experience I have ever had. I was put in room #1 which is right next to the door to the reception as well as the stairwell. The room has _zero_ sound insulation so every time someone exited or entered the reception area, the door would slam shut. The room vibrated with every slam. Additionally, you heard every stomp of feet on the staircase. I checked out at 3:15am because it was a waste of time to stay any longer.”

“Didnt even get to the property. Wrongly advertised as having free parking. The manager refused to help as unaware to me there is a £100 deposit. Until i paid this . Even though I paid for the room he would not give me any details of the location. So held to ransom . He was polite but unhelpful. I chose this property exclusively because of parking as I cant walk distances and especially with a suitcase. Im still trying to get my money back ”

“Apart from my room which was warm and comfortable but lacked a bath towel, with only a shampoo and a very little round soap being provided, the whole place seemed sad and lonely. The Reception was poorly lit and signed, and was cold and damp; I appeared to be one of only two guests staying on the Saturday night and the guests in the room next to mine kept their television on until 5.15am and periodically seemed to drop something heavy on the floor. “We were refused service at the restaurant, when we told staff we were willing to wait they said no point you probably won’t get a table. Then we asked if we could eat in our room and they said no. Effectively giving us no food options we had to order pizza as we are unfamiliar with the area and there was nothing within walking distance.”
