“Loved how they keep everything so clean in the rooms and updated. The breakfast was very nice too! And the beach being groomed and raked every morning is beyond expectations, was good. The shower and water pressure was excellent and the toilet area all worked and was clean. Very good deal for the price. Only thing I noticed negative was spiderwebs on the railing outside.”

“What a special place! This beautifully renovated historic lodge strikes the perfect balance between modern luxury and preserving the history and character of the property. Every detail felt thoughtfully done, and the result was absolutely stunning. It captures the charm of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula perfectly, with its natural beauty, rich history, and welcoming sense of place. The beds were luxurious and incredibly comfortable, and the views were simply breathtaking. The owner was warm and……

“The room was a traditional small motel room that met our needs for a stopover on a road trip. The room was a bit stuffy. It had amenities like in-room coffee and refrigerator. The office offered some snacks and additional toiletries. It was located across the street from a restaurant/bar but there was not much else around that you could walk to after being in a car all day.”

“We travel to the northern lower peninsula and UP at least once a year. This is the best place we have found to stay by far for the price. The front desk staff were very helpful and so nice. (We did find the gentleman who ran the breakfast and did some things outside to be kind of gruff.) The rooms were very clean and updated. We loved the smores on Lake Huron overlooking the bridge. Overall, we had a great stay and will definitely be back!”

“We stayed in the two bedroom suite. It was adorable! Very clean and quiet. Great central location. Close to beaches and many other attractions. Great Rainbow trout fishing on Crystal lake right now too!! Only issue we had, and it was nothing the property did wrong, was the tiny bathroom. Bedrooms were on small side as well, but more than adequate for sleeping. Very comfortable bed and pillows. We're 6'5 and 5'8 and the bathroom (especially tub/shower) were definitely not made for taller/bigger……
