“Unfortunately, we ran into a situation with a sick child and had to make a last-minute change of plans. We were well aware that this was inside of the typical timeframe where adjustments to our stay could be made, but the experience we had made us feel undervalued and ignored. There was a complete failure by the host to respond to any form of communication, including multiple phone calls/messages, texts and emails. What if we had been on site, dealing with an issue in our room/unit? The total……

“Great location if you are wanting to travel around Northern Michigan. Cute town with a convenient grocery store, Mammoth Distillery Lounge and great little pizza place. Check in was easy, but no personal communication from owners. Only automated messages. Unit could have been cleaner. There was sand on the floor and some laundry in the dryer which was strange. Unit did not have as many beds as advertised so I’m glad we didn’t need more. AC unit was incredibly loud and not very efficient. Had to……

“The main advantage of this property is its location; you simply can't beat it if you want to sample the pleasures of Charlevoix. It is also very clean and well equipped by an owner who communicates well. Despite being in” the middle of it all,” even during Venetian Festival, it was very quiet. However, there are some downsides.
First, there is no comfortable place to sit. The sofa is saggy and almost impossible to sit on for a length of time. There are no easy chairs, and the chairs that……
