“Communication with the host was great, quick and clear responses throughout the process. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to make the trip due to extremely poor road conditions, even after trying to drive there. We are from west Michigan, and while we understand “up north” Michigan weather can be unpredictable, the strict no-refund policy was disappointing given the circumstances. “Shore Beats work is a lovely property. The grounds are well maintained and it is back far enough from the road that you don't hear road noise. The interior is comfortable and spacious. There were ten in our group and we did't feel crowded. The kitchen is well stocked and we were able to prepare meals easily.
