「I loved the old fashioned decor and the place was very clean and tidy. The breakfast was really nice and there was flexibility within a time frame for when to be served. Just a heads up, there was a small sink in the room but the bathroom and shower was per floor and there was no TV if those are priorities for you. We didn't mind at all but others may find those two things a bit of a put off.」

「The room was spotless and classy with some local chips and water in the rooms. Excellent for our small dog with amazing views and walking paths. I would also recommend a local breakfast spot Ames Street Cafe. We talked with another guest and we both enjoyed the home made local food. The rapids right next to the hotel was fantastic for wildlife and cool scenery. Short walk see the Elk River to flow into the east bay. It would be a great opportunity for a summer stay if you can get a boat slip....
