Christmas break 2022.

We had a great home away from home experience. We wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and we got exactly that. It was nice to have a Christmas tree to place our Christmas gifts and experience opening our presents in front of a log fire. Our 6 year old was happy to have so much space as well as have his own time in the snug room. Great experience for all of us.

A gem

Clean,comfortable and everything top quality,Vale Cottage is the perfect place to relax,easy to find and close to everything you could need. The 2 dogs and their 4 humans had a lovely time here.

Home from home beautiful place with all the facilities the twin beds in one of the rooms were a bit narrow but minor issue Loved the place very convenient and the Hot tub- an added luxury Will definitely come back Thank you!!

Family Easter break

A lovely spacious cottage with plenty of room for all7 of us plus the dog. The hot tub was a huge hit with the children especially. Karen and her team were very helpful when we had a few problems before the trip and has been since. A lovely break all round.

Autumn Break in Norfolk

A lovely stay in Vale Cottage, perfect for allowing everyone in our family of 6 a space of their own. Good Wifi and Sky TV kept the teens happy and the hot tub was a great addition even in the colder weather. A lovely spot to explore Norfolk from and a great time was had by all. East Coast Hideaways were excellent, making sure the cottage was made up as we wanted and a lovely welcome hamper, would definitely recommend.

Our stay at Vale Cottage

We had a wonderful stay at Vale cottage. The weather was amazing which certainly helped! The location was great, and hot rub was enjoyed by all. East coast hideaways were fabulous and happy to answer all our queries promptly. Would certainly consider booking with them again. The cleanliness of the cottage could have been better particularly if it continues to be a dog friendly cottage. Although it had just been cleaned following the previous guests there were dead flies on the windowsills in the conservatory, hairs in the bath upstairs and somehow on the bedding of the bunk beds. We did use the hoover a few times which had a terrible smell so then decided to sweep instead of using it and it soon became clear that there had been very hairy dogs staying before us, we confirmed this when reading a review from the previous family in the guest book as being black labradors! The dogs we took don't moult. Although we knew we were staying in a dog friendly cottage so did expect some dog hair, the amount of hair and tumble weed left from the previous family made us question how well the cottage had been vacuumed, may be worth investing in a better hoover as I imagine over the years the amount of dog hair will soon accumulate.

A relaxing, dog-friendly holiday.

We all enjoyed a relaxing week away at Vale Cottage. The cottage is spacious and well suited for accomodating families and pets (we are two families of four with four Labradors between us). The beach is a ten minute walk away and is very large and dog-friendly - our dogs had an absolute blast on this holiday! The cottage is in a quiet location with a very private outdoor area with a BBQ and a lovely hot tub. There is a pretty herb and vegetable garden and guests are invited to help themselves, which we did! Our highlights include swimming in the sea with seals and hiring a day boat on the Norfolk Broads. East Coast Holidays were very helpful and available to assist with any immediate queries.
