“This is the ideal location if you’re coming to the area for birdwatching. I’ve been coming in May for several years and have stayed in different places, but this will now be my go to spot. “I would not recommend staying here. The sign out front advertises free breakfast and free Wi-Fi, but during my stay they had neither. The property was disappointing. People were hanging around drinking alcohol and smoking what appeared to be marijuana inside and in the parking lot/lounge areas, and management didn’t seem to address it. “This was the perfect place to stay for myself, my teenager and my toddler. We mostly just needed a place to lay our head at night but this place was cozy and easy to call home for a few days. Yes some of the furniture is "outdated" but it is not in bad condition. It is just older and goes with the decor and theme of a small inn rsrher than a corporate chain hotel. The beds were comfy, the rooms were clean, the amenities worked and the pool was clean. Location is really what sold us on this place……

“The pool was closed half of our stay. Ice machines were broken. Asked to have our room cleaned and fresh towels brought to our room-never happened. Called again and asked for towels to be brought up, they said I could come to front desk and get them, but they weren’t bringing them up. Went to get towels and asked why room wasn’t cleaned and towels brought up and I was actually told that if I didn’t like it, I could stay somewhere else! I couldn’t believe my ears! Terrible place to stay!”

“According to what I read, they were 11 miles away. It ended up being something like 28 miles away from the location that I was visiting. I found that the place was an older place and could have been cleaned up more. The rooms were not exactly clean. The sheets, the bad's the towels.All balls were well maintained and were comfortable.But I thought the place could use a clean job , especially at the sink in the shower”
