「Laureen was very hospitable. She accomodated us every step of the way. There were clean sheets, comforters, pillows and sets of towels arranged in the room. The bathroom was also clean and there was hot water. Laureen checked in on us to see how we slept and if our needs were met. 「This is a cool place - not much to do but worth staying at if you are in the Albany area and on the road. The food was awesome at the restaurants. Breakfast was great and so was the coffees.」

「As a little motel close to a festival venue, the Black Bear Lodge was just what I was looking for. I was prepared for it to be small and basic and for the decor to be somewhat dated. What I found was a motel that was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The innkeeper was delightful. I would stay there again. 」
