「The Max is our go to place in Daytona. We love staying there. The rooms are very spacious, right on the beach. Plenty of seating outside.. my only complaint/suggestion would be to bring your own trash bags. They will only give you two at a time and they are very, very thin and rip very easily. You are better off just buying your own. 」

「Crappy internet, TV didn't work, breakfast was so full of people you couldn't get in, messy, people using hands touching everything, night staff was so rude and irritated for some reason Tuesday evening. 」

「Not everyone will live this place. It’s not the biggest and best but it is cozy and convenient. If you are a simple laid back person who can appreciate a nice comfy bed, book it. I loved the beds, the staff, free parking, little diner-like restaurant with Asian heavy menu, rooftop bar & close enuf to the Bandshell which was our daily destination for NCA NDA. 「We had a situation regarding with the room cleaning, although after my request the staff promptly solve the issue. Beach view is a beautiful!」

「The staff was really nice. The beach view was great. The room had the air conditioning not working as powerful, but they immediately replaced it and it was ice cold. The only thing that I will say is the parking is kind of minimal and inconvenient. all around it was a good stay though.. I would book it again.」

「This was quite possibly the worst place we have ever stayed. We checked in at 5:30 pm into the first room and were afraid that they had accidentally given us the keys to someone else’s room because the beds were still unmade, there was trash everywhere and dirty towels still littered the bathroom floors. Turns out the room still hadn’t been cleaned from the previous guests. We were kind and gave them grace as we came on the tail end of Spring Break and thought they must have been busy. We...

「The staff was mean, had an attitude and would not even look at you. Check in was at 4 and did not get a room till 6:30. Staff did not apologize or offer any accommodations since I paid for a full night but technically did not get a full night. No entry from pool to beach. You have to walk around the building and walk in by car beach entrance. Great view from room facing beach.」

「Bathroom in lobby no soap, no paper towels in a period of three hours, had to ask for a soap bar at the front desk. Room wasn't clean . Beds were clean but floor sandy and dirty I had to mop myself with a towel. Staff very friendly and helpful, I had to go at 5:30 am to front desk to get the maintenance property due no water in toilet .......a piece was broken. Breakfast area clean , food was good. Room had a Oceanview balcony we enjoyed as well the beach.」

「Our door didnt shut all the way, when questioned about it we were told that it is normal. Asked to change rooms because we didnt feel safe staying in that room, front desk guy actrd like it inconvenienced him, and then were charged $100 to do so. No elevator, rooms open to outside like a motel. Rooms were very humid and damp. Papers were damp. Plastic bed coverings were loud, bed sheet upside down. Dirty. Bathroom exhaust fan coverrd in dust. Lamps in room were covered in rust and dust. DIRTY!!!」
