Great Spot on the Water

We had 6 adults and 4 young kids, and this house was perfect! The two-tiered sand area was great for the kids. There is really no beach to speak of, but the sand area more than makes up for it. House was clean and nice. Everything worked well and beds were comfy.

Great family vacation spot

This was a great house for our family with little ones. The sand and ocean right out the door was convenient to come and go as we needed with the kids! The place was very comfortable and nice! Beautiful views! We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Beach House

Perfect beach house and especially great for kids! Safe, private beach in front, yet steps to the water. House basically has all amenities you would need. Loved making dinner each night in the huge kitchen with views of the water. Can't wait to come back next year!

Aah--it couldn't be more relaxing

This is our 3rd Thanksgiving at this property. As ages have changed so have the room assignments but this location has the bedroom and bath arrangements to make it work. Fun local neighborhood shopping, and great sunsets!

Great!

Beautiful home, owners were great to work with. Only disappointment was description in listing stated easy beach access. That was not the case, only way to the beach was to scale a rock wall during low tide, difficult to do with a 2 year old and elderly parents.

Best family vacation! Fits 12 very comfortably.

Loved every minute. Very clean. Would love to come back every year. My sons were able to surf early in the morning and in the late afternoon. They surfed down at the pier in between. We will be back!

UCSD Graduation trip

Rented beach house with my children and grandkids. We were n town to attend my nieces college graduation at UCSD. Home was very nice but a bit outdated. Backyard “ocean” was great. Lack of basic supplies was a little aggravating but overall a very nice home. Would be interested in renting again.

Perfect Spot

Private beach was absolutely fantastic for my 2 year old to play in the sand. When we felt like getting wet, we took the boogie boards down to the ocean area. There are rocks you need to climb down to get to the water, but it is definitely worth it once you reach the sandy beach area. Roomy house, beautiful kitchen, and a nice courtyard for grilling and hanging out. Perfect family vaca spot. Thank you Logan for your quick responses.

The house was spacious and the view was amazing

The kitchen and dining area were large. Great for big groups or family dinners. The gas range was lovely to cook on. I wish there had been a big griddle for pancakes but we made do. The beach front and fire pit were very popular and we also saw dolphins and whales from the balcony. Our only complaint was that cell service was very limited. I could only call or text from the deck outside and only one or two bars. But WiFi worked great.

Awesome location

A group of 10 of us stayed in this amazing home and it was everything we had hoped for. We saw dolphins each day right in front of the house and even a seal playing one morning.. Don’t hesitate to book, you’ll have a great time. My only suggestion to the owners is to replace the mattresses on the sleeper sofas in the basement. They were extremely uncomfortable. We ended up pulling the mattresses off the frame and laying them on the floor to sleep so we didn’t have to deal with the bars. Other than that it was perfect.

Everything we hoped for and more!

We could only hope that the pictures online were half as nice as the actual condo itself -- we were thrilled to discover the reality was even better than the pictures. The large spacious master bedroom - the huge living room - it was perfect for our two families and little kids. The condo is not on the strand - so you don't have that annoying foot traffic in your backyard - instead you are literally steps from the water and a few minute walk down to the public beach. And if you're lucky and the tide is low -- you are steps away from both beach and ocean! We were thrilled with everything about the house and Logan was a gracious host responding to texts and emails nearly instantly. We would definitely come back!

Great place! BEWARE: very early check-out

We absolutely loved this place. It's fabulous. The only downer was the extremely early check-out at 9am, apparently if we had requested a late check-out with more notice they may have agreed. If I were to stay again, I'd request a late check-out as soon as I booked it. Other than that, we had a wonderful time. Great location on the beach, house is well outfitted with kitchen, etc. We had to turn the water heater up to have warm enough water, and then it worked fine. Plenty of sand toys. Oh also - the owner didn't seem to provide laundry detergent so we couldn't do laundry the last night...hadn't thought to buy it when we were at the store. You'll need to buy detergent or ask them to provide it if you want to do laundry.

Beach House

The property was as described, very easy to access, open with beautiful views of the ocean and a great location. We appreciated the ability to have access to the garage for parking and unloading which was very helpful. We had a couple concerns but nothing major and were assisted by the management staff promptly when needed. We were a little disappointed in the amount of kitchen cabinets that were not accessible to us (locked) since we brought a significant amount of food and other items we thought we'd need to prepare our meals. It would be helpful if the owners provided a more detailed list of what was available (i.e. blender, crock pot, coffee pot etc.) since we didn't know and brought our own. Overall we were very happy with the home and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Again, I appreciate the responsiveness of the staff to communicate with me and provide items we needed help with during our visit! Thank you, we'll be back!

Wonderful Beach Property

Beautiful Oceanside Escape (with minor operational issues)

Location, amenities and property manager were all superb, however this older home had a couple of issues that we unfortunately had to deal with that put a damper on our stay. The oven wouldn't properly heat, but property manager found a repairman to fix the next day; the upstairs bathroom had slow draining sink and sewage smell that came up the shower when used that was mostly resolved with a plumber visit after 3 days; and the WiFi signal is very weak in the downstairs 2 bedrooms. To be sure, we pleased with responsiveness and communication from property manager, but were disappointed that we had to deal with these issues in an oceanfront rental at this price level.

Nice ocean view

This was a very nice property with a great view of the ocean. You could open some of the bedroom windows and fall asleep to the sound of waves. Lots of toys for kids. No beach towels. No beach access. Very nice house

Family fun and sun!

Ocean front barely speaks to the truth of this property. Our access to the beach was limited by the season and its high tides, but a 7 minute walk/drive either direction gets you sandy and wide open beach to swim and sun. The beauty and splendor outside are enjoyed equally as well while comfortably seated inside. Each room was comfortably appointed. The bathrooms were well stocked and showers spacious for adults/children. The 4 big(ger) grands enjoyed the sand toys (the outdoor shower was fully tested!). As SoCal natives dwelling in the SoNev desert for 30+ years we raised daughters who love the ocean—and beaches. We are grateful to enjoy watching them raise their children to do the same! This house provided the perfect setting.
