Ocean views with a sand play space

Since Oceanside has been losing sand for the past few years it was great to have a "backyard" of sand for kids to enjoy. The bedrooms are very large and three have ocean views. The house has lots of sitting areas to watch the dolphins swim by and a large sofa and table for family gatherings.

Villa Jules

The location of this property was great, a short walk to town and located close to many of the areas we wanted to visit. Most of the bathrooms need to be updated, the master especially. The shower is barely large enough to turn around in and the glass door had mold around the door frame and was not really clean. The window sills around most of the house are old, with peeling paint and also are not clean. Walking around barefoot in the house you could feel that the floors needed cleaning. The house does not have AC which forced us to keep the windows open at all times, this was ok during the day but if you don’t like the sound of crashing waves all night, your not going to sleep well. The outside area was very nice with a volley ball court and a fire pit, but one of the benches at the pit was broken and should have been removed before our arrival. There really wasn’t any comfortable areas outside. The house was big and we were comfortable but we would not rent it again unless they made some major changes.
