Strand House #2 - Extreme Oceanfront

Summary:
Step out the front door and into a new world on the world-class beach of Oceanside. This one-bedroom house has been completely renovated and updated to reflect the beauty and majesty of the crashing waves and brilliant sun of the Pacific. You'll find everything you need here to rest, relax, and be inspired to take on what's next in this crazy world.

The Space:
Our condo is air conditioned! Don't believe anyone who says you don't need A/C in the summer - the condos along the beach are extremely hot on summer days.

Guest Access:
Door PIN will be sent just prior to your arrival. Please note it doesn't activate until your scheduled check-in time.

Other Things to Note:
Please be sure to read the "Things to Know" section at the bottom of the listing to ensure our property is a good fit for your stay. Please also note you are welcome to bring one (1) pet. An additional fee of $35/night is required for your pet.

Nick was amazing in welcoming us, via messages, and provided much needed info as I am handicapped. Loved the cute room, loved it was just a few steps away from our front door. The only drawback I can think of, I wished there was onsite parking. I did manage, the fact that Pacific st has overnight parking. Thank you Nick for the awesome stay

Great location, a bit noisy at night

Centrally located, close to the pier and right in front of the ocean. We stayed over the weekend and cooked breakfast and dinner and had everything we needed. I really loved the place and communication with the host was great. I was not expecting the strand to be crowded at night but it was. There was a line of cars cruising by all day and after sunset until about 1am. It was not extremely loud but it was not quiet.

Escape AZ heat

We arrived to a clean and welcoming home on the beach. Finding the location with a large truck can be difficult to navigate but it was very easy to access. Great location that is within walking distance of many awesome restaurants. Parking was never difficult to find, even on the weekend. Highly recommend all to stay here.

Outstanding Location!

My stay at the Strand House was absolutely wonderful! Walk out from the house and cross the street to meet the ocean, or walk to nearby restaurants, bars, coffeeshops, and more. The location of this house was unbeatable. Please be aware that there is no parking at this location, and parking in the surrounding area is limited. Besides a cleanliness issue that I was able to take care of myself, this cozy home had everything I needed during my relaxing vacation. I will be returning!

Great little place

This is a great little place right on the beach. It was stocked with everything you need for your stay. I traveled with a 3 year old and a 13 year old and not having direct access to the beach is my only take away. The rocks take away the direct access to the beach which made it inconvenient for me. We were able to walk a very short distance to the sand and beach, so made it work but had to haul our stuff further than expected. If you don’t mind not being able to walk right onto the beach this place will be perfect. I have stayed on the opposite side of the pier with direct access to the sand and beach and feel it was more accommodating for families with kids. There is no parking on the property which is never convenient but we had no issues finding parking in the city lot and off Pacific as instructed. Access to the laundry room was great! Being able to wash prior to departure was definitely a plus. Be sure to have change otherwise you can download the app to pay but it’s a $10 minimum. Overall this is a great little place. If I were traveling alone or just adults I would stay again!!

We stayed here while I was back in town visiting family. Very clean great location right on the strand. Even though it was February we still had some beach time. Parking is the only bummer since you have to park on the street and pay for day parking. But other than that it was lovely
