It was in a great area - walking distance to Ocotal beach and the beachfront had a wonderful restaurant: Father Rooster. We had a vehicle, driving into Cocoa beach which was about a 10 min drive was awesome too.”

“The workers were great, friendly and helpful. The room was incredibly small, we had the room with two twin beds. The space between the beds was about a foot. Two people could not stand in that space. Incredibly difficult for two people to maneuver around in.”

“Beautiful property and room! The pools are plentiful and never felt crowded—we saw a monkey! Treat yourself to an evening sunset by the lobby bar—breathtaking! The beach is ona beautiful cove. My kids enjoyed the rocky areas for “tidepooling” for hermit crabs, fish, etc. There is a nice reef right off the beach where daily snorkeling activities are available. We saw a puffer fish, some colorful tropical fish and a spotted ray. Note the beach is public, but the locals are friendly and not……

“The inside of the property is decent, clean, and modern. The interior spaces look like the photos and provide a comfortable enough place to rest after a day out. Future guests should know that this is not a standard hotel with traditional amenities, staff, or services. Furthermore, the surrounding neighborhood is not quite tourist-friendly or the ideal vacation spot that the average person would want. “This place is rather dated and needs updates and repairs. Broken kitchen drawer, toilet runs on after every flush, mickey-mouse shower set up, we were obligated to clean pool every day if we wanted to use it, wifi faded in and out, and it generally felt like 'economy' lodging. A bit disappointing. Location is a short walk to beach, which we really liked.”

There were loud workers talking outside our door at 4am, the construction next door wafter fire smoke into the room and onto the property at night and in the morning. “Sharon at reception was exceptional. She was very thorough, informative and even assisted me with booking shuttles and tours. The property was gorgeous, clean and well maintained. So many pools and maintenance workers upkeeping the exterior. The walk to the Java coffee shop/Wave restaurant is 5 minutes and about 15 minutes to downtown which has many gift shops, restaurants and grocery stores. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe in Coco Beach, as the locals WANT to help you. Golf cart……

“The bed was not good as it is very soft and older. Rest all is well, kitchen has no salt etc so you need to buy all from scratch to cook but they have all utensils.”
