“We booked this property because it was very close to a venue we were attending a wedding at, I had booked three rooms and requested one room to be a twin, despite me telephoning twice to check, but when we checked in it was still made up as a double, but it was quickly rectified. We had an evening meal which was pleasant, staff were good but I can’t say over welcoming, the bedrooms were clean, well presented but only had one hand towel, one packet of biscuits and no full length mirror. “The rooms need at least an option of having more light. I get the theme for the hotel, but still - the lack of light in the room was deeply inconvenient. The most disappointing part was the pool area. When I visited in 2022, the pool setup was absolutely amazing for summer - cocktails in a very elegantly done Moroccan themed poolside. “Everything inside the room is comprehensive, it is clean and tidy although the room space is a bit tight.”

“Only stayed for one night but would recommend. Room was exactly as described and good facilities with the bonus of a fully equipped (but small) kitchen. I think the people who own this property take pride in what they offer.”

“This is a place for when you want to toyally switch off, relax and gave a great nights sleep. Having no TV on the room, meant we went to bed early, heard no a sound all night and came away fully refreshed after one night. There are a couple of nice pubs and restaurants in walking distance and the Thai Orchid is fab.”

“I stayed here with my mum for 2 nights to be near my brother. The host was so lovely and helpful. Big thank you. We had a great stay in the apartment and would definitely stay here again. It was perfect. My mum is 83 and could come through the main entrance. No need to use the fire escape stairs. The parking entrance is opposite the shop Lords hardware shop. Only saying that as there’s lots of options and even my satnav got confused!! Bonus that there were community fire works whilst we stayed……

“Wonderful stay for the summer with river views and amazing terrace. So many peaceful places to sit and watch the river in the grounds. The rooms were lovely - spacious, big bed and bathrooms and the extra amenities were very appreciated. Its a stunning setting for a summer break.”
