「Property was nice. Room was clean, however, the blow dryer did not work. Staff was pleasant.」

「I can’t imagine this place being open in the near future. The walls are crumbling, entire sections of the roof were missing, there was a piece of plywood between the box spring and mattress I had to be careful I didn’t t break my toes on because it stuck out so bad, the water in the pool left a slimy scum on my skin, there was no remote for the tv, the blow dryer didn’t work, the chairs were so filthy I was afraid to sit down in them, the staff were clueless as to what was going on in the area...

「I expect a typical “free breakfast” when I stay at a roadside hotel…scrambled eggs, sausage, an assortment of breads and cereals…the usual fare for such establishments. The bar is not very high. Unfortunately, Fairfield in Wheeling didn’t make it over the bar. The assortment of offerings was fewer than the average, and no breakfast meat, at all. When the expectation is pretty low to begin with, failure to meet the expectation is disappointing. You gotta pick up your game, Fairfield.」

「Hairdryer only operated on low. Elevator was questionable. It jerked and often landed lower than the floor creating a step & possible tripping hazard. Front desk gentleman was alone and very busy, but went above and beyond to offer help if needed. He was very apologetic about the wait checking in even though we were not overly concerned.」

「We stayed here only one night but the property was beautiful and the tiny house is certainly tiny but well appointed. We appreciated being able to bring our dogs and hope to visit again soon!」

「This is absolutely the perfect couples get away. Grab your significant other and the dogs and get away. Wonderful beautiful property, a beautiful pond with a fountain and hearing the crickets chirp. And to add is you really are in the middle of no where but 20 minutes up the road is a town filled with places to eat and shop. We will absolutely be back and I simply can’t wait!!」
