This is a lovely home perfect for a family vacation.
It is situated right on the water with easy access for kayaking and paddleboarding. We loved the decks, both up and down, with seating to view all the wildlife activity and a firepit table for entertaining. Close to Gig Harbor and the ferries to Seattle and north, we were able to explore this beautiful are area of WA.
One of my favorite properties I’ve ever stayed loved the set up of the house it was beautiful and the water is 10ft away from the house we got to go out on the paddle boards and kayaks and we saw sea lions! there is a hanging couch outside downstairs that is perfect to have coffee at in the morning with the sun rising on the water it was so peaceful. I would definitely stay here again!
What a lovely setting! We enjoyed a peaceful stay relaxing at the house, taking the kayaks and paddleboards out on the water, or taking a stroll at low tide to see what treasures we could find. There was enough space for everyone to enjoy time together or retreat to separate areas. We would stay here again!
This spot on the waterfront was perfect for spending Christmas with our family in a peaceful and beautiful spot. The kitchen was great for preparing one huge holiday feast after another, and we apppreciated Laurie supplying a larger table for our comfort, not to mention the lovely Christmas tree! Lots to watch on the water, including groups of seals and ducks swimming by! Plus, we took a lovely hike at nearby Anderson park to that beach. Look forward to a return trip!
This property lived up to its listing and more. The house is well appointed, updated and comfortable. On our trip it was 2 couples and the 2 main bedrooms are separated and private. We enjoyed the deck with fire table and the wood burning fire pit the most. Not far is Gig Harbor and many fun things to do.
What a magical place! We lucked out with a beautiful weather weekend, but we truly enjoyed the inside of this home just as much as the outside. Beautiful, modern decor, comfy beds and an awesome view from every room. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need, and eating around the fire table on the patio was the perfect way to enjoy our meals. We loved the daybed swing and the fact that we could enjoy it rain or shine. The owners were so helpful and kind, and we could not recommend this place more highly! All the stars.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
lovely location with some drawbacks
Beautiful location and very nice accommodations. Very tricky parking for anyone and very challenging stairs down to the property for any seniors or persons with mobility issues. Owner was extremely nice in her communications, but the lock on the front door was tedious process. Wonderful location for younger people with small vehicles.
The views from basically anywhere in or outside the house are phenomenal! I got one of the best sleeps I've had in a vacation home listening to the tide come in and out, along with the light patter of rain on the roof.
The outdoor features of the home were the cherry on top, so to speak. Laying on the outdoor bed swing after a 4 day backpacking trip was truly amazing, along with sitting at the waters edge soaking our feet in the sound. Dinner on the deck at sunset rounded out the stay. 5* accommodation; would highly recommend to anyone.
LOVED IT! The views out the window from any room (except bathrooms) are incredibly relaxing. I had a different property booked that I ended up canceling due to host's lack of honesty on his property description and got this one last minute. I'm so glad that happened now or I wouldn't get to stay at this gem. It accommodated well our family of ages 0-62. There's no insane check-out chores list which is another nice stand out. I can't wait to go back and stay longer in the summer.
We so enjoyed our stay in Laurie’s beautiful, clean and comfortable home. She was such a gracious and responsive host. With the amazing view, it was hard to peel ourselves away from the windows and we were rewarded with seals, sea lions, porpoises and otters. Since we’ve been to the area once before, we were content to spend a lot of time hanging out and enjoyed the many warm throws and the well equipped kitchen when we didn’t venture to Gig Harbor to eat. November is a peaceful time of year. The changing leaves were amazing! What a fabulous property.
We loved the location close to the water. We were able to see a few seals, a dolphin and an eagle that lives in the area. I wish we had more time to stay.
Our second time staying here. This is true waterfront with beautiful views and wildlife watching. Great firepit on the water to relax by. The house is updated and comfortable. Great bbq and fire table on the deck.
Beautiful house right on Colvos Passage! Went swimming and my son even paddleboarded at sunset. The Orcas passed by in the evening.Enjoyed a wonderful time with family. Walked the beach and enjoyed visiting Olalla Bay Market. We contacted the hosts and they were very responsive.
The house was right on the water as described and close to the Olalla Market (walking distance) . It was well appointed and clean. We rented it because a family wedding that we attended and it was perfect. Our host Laurie was also great and very responsive. I would highly recommend staying at this location!
Beautiful location on the beach, stocked very well from games to throw blankets to kitchen ware and pantry. Spacious and open - enough beds/bedrooms for 4 adults and 2 or 3 kids. Several outdoor areas up & downstairs to enjoy the beach view, all with different seating & vibes. Easy access from the Seattle area, and easy drive to Gig Harbor for a visit or Southworth for the ferry.
