「There were a few problems with the room when we arrived but the staff took care of it promptly. The stay was very relaxing. Manatees off the bow of the boat every day. It was our second trip here and hope to come back again. 」

「While the room looked "tired" (furniture was old and a little beat up). Room was mostly clean but could have been cleaner (ie: bottom of microwave had egg all over it from previous tenant, Closet floors didn't look like they have been mopped) but rest of it was really clean. Overall the resort was amazing! Nice pool, hot tub, and beach area. Beautiful sunsets! We unfortunately didn't get to try the restaurant as we ran out of time but people said it was good. 」

We were expecting a regular big hotel on the beach kind of stay, but The Islander offers bungalow-style accommodations with private lanai/patios for every room! It made the place feel so much more chill. The grounds were beautiful with abundant landscaping, palm trees, and tons of seating options to lounge on and off the beach. 」
