Excellent stay for our family

First, let me say that the owner Alex was great. He took the time to show us around the property in detail. Additional, he was easy to contact and responded in a timely manner. Now for the property: In general, the place was just amazing. It was sparkling clean and felt very safe. The entry to the neighborhood was gated and the grounds were up kept very well. Upon entry to the home you are invited with an open floor plan of the living room, kitchen, and dining room. The decor was about right with just enough to make it feel like home, but not so much that we felt like we had to watch the kids all the time to prevent something from getting broken. The living room was cozy and the options for TV channels was great. The kitchen was very well equipped with all the furnishings to cook meals. The only "complaint" about the kitchen was the lack of plastic spatulas. The metals ones are nice, but as evidenced by the skillets, may not be the right choice. The dining area is spacious and comfortable. Before I go into more datail of the rest of the house, I must express my gratefulness that someone else shares my dislike for wearing shoes in the house. The property owner asked that, especially in the carpeted areas, no shows be worn. This adds to the clean feeling of the home. The second bedroom is very simple with cozy beds for the kids. The room is attached to a fairly large bathroom that exits to either the bedroom or the hallway. The hallway has a small utility room in it with a washer and dryer which came in handy. The master bedroom was great with a very comfortable bed and minimal furniture. The master bath was very large and the big bathtub was welcoming. The only concern with the master bath was the volume of the exhaust fan. It comes on with the light and if it is on you connot hear someone in the other room very well. This was just more of an annoyance than a complaint. The only other thing I might change about the home is the lighting. It can be quite dim with 3000K type light color. I feel it would benefit from some brighter LED lights, but that is simply an opinion. We will definitely be visiting here again. We love Chattanooga and this is a wonderful place to stay while there.
